Parliamentary elections were held in Transnistria on 29 November 2020, alongside municipal elections. Electoral system The 33 seats of the Supreme Council are elected in single-member constituencies using first-past-the-post voting. An independent or non-partisan politician is a politician not affiliated with any political party or bureaucratic association. Elections In Transnistria
The politics of Transnistria, a ''de facto'' independent state situated de jure within the Republic of Moldova in Eastern Europe, take place in a framework of a semi-presidential republic, whereby the President of Transnistria is head of state and the Prime Minister of Transnistria is head of government. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and parliament. The Pridnestrovie Communist Party (PCP), Moldovan Cyrillic: , uk, Придністровська комуністична партія is a communist party in the unrecognized state of Transnistria. The party was led by Oleg Khorzhan until his arrest and imprisonment in 2018. The party newspaper is the Russian-language biweekly ''Pravda Pridnestrovya''. ''Against All'' ( cs, Proti všem) is a 1956 Czechoslovak historical drama film directed by Otakar Vávra. It is based on the novel '' Proti všem'' by Alois Jirásek. The film's budget was 25 million KČs which made it the most expensive Czech film of the time. Itis the third part of Vávra's cinematic Hussite Revolutionary Trilogy. The plot is set after Jan Žižka and concludes the entire trilogy. It takes place in 1420. Sheriff (russian: Шериф) is the second-largest company in the unrecognised breakaway state Transnistria. It is based in the city of Tiraspol. A majority government is a government by one or more governing parties that hold an absolute majority of seats in a legislature. This is as opposed to a minority government, where the largest party in a legislature only has a plurality of seats. A government majority determines the balance of power. Camenca District ( ro, Raionul Camenca; russian: Каменский район; uk, Кам'янський район) is a district of Transnistria, a breakaway republic which is internationally recognized as part of Moldova. Its seat is the town of Camenca. The district contains this town and twelve communes (a total of 23 localities, including the small villages and hamlets): Camenca is located along the river Dniester.
