The 2020 Boys' EuroHockey Youth Championships was scheduled to be the 11th edition of the Boys' EuroHockey Youth Championship, the biennial international boys' under-18 field hockey championship of Europe organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was scheduled to be held alongside the 2020 Girls' EuroHockey Youth Championships, women's tournament in Kazan, Russia from 12 to 18 July 2020. The tournament was canceled on 31 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. Field Hockey
Field hockey is a team sport structured in standard hockey format, in which each team plays with ten outfield players and a goalkeeper. Teams must drive a round hockey ball by hitting it with a hockey stick towards the rival team's shooting circle and then into the goal. The match is won by the team that scores the most goals. Matches are played on grass, watered turf, artificial turf, synthetic field, or indoor boarded surface. The stick is made of wood, carbon fibre, fibreglass, or a combination of carbon fibre and fibreglass in different quantities. The stick has two sides; one rounded and one flat; only the flat face of the stick is allowed to progress the ball. During play, goalkeepers are the only players allowed to touch the ball with any part of their body. A player's hand is considered part of the stick if holding the stick. COVID-19 Pandemic In Europe

The 2018 Boys' EuroHockey Youth Championships will be the 10th edition of the Boys' EuroHockey Youth Championships. It will be held from 15 to 21 July 2018 in Santander, Spain at the Ruth Beitia Sports Complex. Germany is the current champion. Poland and France have promoted from the Youth Championship II. Santander, Spain
Santander () is the capital of the autonomous community and historical region of Cantabria situated on the north coast of Spain. It is a port city located east of Gijón and west of Bilbao with a population of 172,000 (2017).
