2019–20 Montana State Bobcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Montana State Bobcats men's basketball team represented Montana State University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bobcats, led by first-year head coach Danny Sprinkle, play their home games at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman, Montana as members of the Big Sky Conference. Previous season The Bobcats finished the 2018–19 season finished the season 15–17, 11–9 in Big Sky play to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place. They defeated Idaho in the first round of the Big Sky tournament before losing in the quarterfinals to Eastern Washington. On March 17 2019, head coach Brian Fish was fired. He finished at Montana State with a five-year record of 65–92. Danny Sprinkle
Danny Sprinkle (born October 12, 1976) is a former American college basketball player, currently the head coach at Utah State University, a member of the Mountain West Conference in NCAA Division I. He was previously the head coach at his alma mater, Montana State University. Playing career A two-time all-state selection in Montana at Helena High School, Sprinkle played college basketball at Montana State in Bozeman, where he was conference freshman of the year in 1996, and earned all-league honors in 1997. He graduated as the school's seventh all-time leading scorer. Coaching career Sprinkle's first coaching job came in 2000 as an assistant at Cal State Northridge, where he stayed for six seasons. He returned to Montana State for a two-year stint as an assistant under new head coach Brad Huse, then went back to Northridge in 2008 for five seasons. Miles Community College
Miles Community College is a public community college in Miles City, Montana. History The college was founded in 1939. For almost 20 years it operated out of a few rooms in the local public high school. In 1957, MCC moved into the former Milwaukee Railroad Depot building. In June 1967, the college moved into a new building that was constructed after passage of a bond issued by county voters. On April 4, 1970, voters of the district elected the first independent board of trustees for the college. In December 1971, Miles Community College was granted accreditation by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. During academic year 1971-72, a new student center was constructed. Miles City ( chy, Ma'xemâhoévé'ho'eno) is a city in and the county seat of Custer County, Montana, United States. The population was 8,354 at the 2020 census. History After the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876, the U.S. Army created forts in eastern Montana, including one where the north-flowing Tongue River flowed into the east-flowing Yellowstone River. Livingston is a city and county seat of Park County, Montana, United States. It is in southwestern Montana, on the Yellowstone River, north of Yellowstone National Park. Barking Abbey School is a secondary school and specialist sports and humanities college located in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
