2019–20 Denmark Series
The 2019–20 Denmark Series was the 55th season of the Denmark Series, the fourth-tier of the Danish football league system, Danish football league structure organised by the Danish Football Union, Danish FA (DBU). The league was divided in four pools of ten teams each. Initially, the winner of each pool was to be promoted to the 2020-21 Danish 2nd Division, while the last place team would be relegated to a lower division and bottom two teams of each pool in danger of playing relegation-playoff (depending on Danish 2nd Division results). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was suspended after 14 games and relegation was cancelled. The top two teams in each group faced two promotion play-off matches. KFUM Roskilde
KFUM's Boldklub Roskilde is an association football club based in the town of Roskilde, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1929, it is affiliated to DBU Zealand. The team plays its home matches at Lillevang Idrætscenter where it has been based since 1979. Idrætsforeningen Skjold Birkerød (; commonly known as Skjold Birkerød), is a sports club based in Birkerød, Denmark. Skjold is mostly known for its association football department, which competes in the Denmark Series, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Idrætsforeningen Lyseng Fodbold (), commonly known as IF Lyseng, is an association football club based in the suburb of Højbjerg, Aarhus Municipality, Denmark, that competes in the Danish 3rd Division, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Ishøj IF is a football club from Ishøj, Denmark. The club was founded in 2017. Its first squad plays in the Danish 3rd Division. The club has more than 1,000 members. Ishøj IF started its existence in the Zealand Series in 2017. FC Midtjylland (, "Central Jutland") is a Danish professional football club based in Herning and Ikast in the western part of Jutland. The club is the result of a merger between Ikast FS and Herning Fremad. Midtjylland competes in the Danish Superliga, which they have won three times, most recently in 2020. Hedensted Idrætsforening is a Danish Association football, football club based in Hedensted. It was founded in 1928, and its first team competed in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. The club is a part of the DBU Jutland regional association. Hedensted IF has more than 800 paying members, making it one of the largest sports clubs in Jutland and Denmark as a whole. History Founded in 1928 by I.S. Hüttel and E. The club was founded 21 August 1921 and has since the foundation been playing at Nymosen Sports Park. Boldklubben Fremad Valby (abbreviated Fremad V) is a Danish association football club located in the district of Valby, Copenhagen, that also has women's association football and handball departments. As of the 2019/20-season, the club's first senior men's team play in the Denmark Series ( level 4).
