Boldklubben Union, commonly known as BK Union or Union, is an association football club based in Copenhagen, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1900 as "Nordvestkvarterets Kristelige Ungdomsforenings Boldklub", it is affiliated to the regional DBU Copenhagen football association. The team plays its home matches at Genforeningspladsen in the Nordvest neighbourhood. History Early history Union has since its foundation on 2 July 1900 – where it was named NKUB (Nordvestkvarterets Kristelige Ungdomsforenings Boldklub) – had a strong affiliation to the Nordvest neighbourhood. The club's first chairman was Oscar Bremer. In 1906, the club joined DBU Copenhagen, then named KBU. Four years later, it assumed the status of joint club for the entirety of Nørrebro's YMCA (KFUM) and thus adopted the name "Union". Viktor Tranberg
Viktor Tranberg (born 26 February 1997) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Club career Nordsjælland Tranberg was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was promoted into the first team squad in the summer 2016 at the age of 19. He made his Nordsjælland debut on 7 August 2016, coming off the bench in the 62nd minute for Abdul Mumin in a 2–1 defeat against AaB in the Danish Superliga. Tranberg became a regular starter in the 2017–18 season, but was benched in October 2017. Kolding IF
Kolding IF is an association football club based in Kolding, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 2nd Division, the third tier of Danish football, after suffering relegation at the end of the 2020–21 season. Founded in 1895, Kolding IF played in the top-flight 1982 and 1983 Danish 1st Division championships. In 2002, they joined forces with Kolding Boldklub, the other major football club in Kolding, to form the cooperative Kolding FC first team. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. Jægersborg Boldklub
Jægersborg is a suburban neighbourhood in Gentofte Municipality, some 12 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. History The whole area was from at least 1401 a royal estate known as Ibstrup (the earliest sources refer to it as Jepstorp). The nearest village was Mellerup located midway between Ibstrup and Ordrup. Its land came under Ibstrup when it disappeared in the middle of the 17th century. The Ibstrup estate was since Queen Margaret's day used for royal hunts, although King Frederick II was the first to establish a royal residence at the site. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. Frederik Lucas Holst (; born 24 September 1994) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a right-back. He also has represented Denmark since under-16 level. Career Brøndby 2011–12 season On 9 May 2012, Holst signed a new two-and-a-half-year Brøndby IF contract, which tied him to the club until the end of 2014.
