2019 National League Play-off Final
The 2019 National League play-off Final , known as the Vanarama National League Promotion Final for sponsorship reasons, was a football match played at Wembley Stadium in London on 11 May 2019 to decide the second team to be promoted from the National League to EFL League Two for the 2019–20 season. The culmination of the 2019 National League play-offs saw Salford City beat AFC Fylde 3–0 to earn promotion alongside the National League champions Leyton Orient. The match had a record low attendance. The 2018–19 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth season under English football's new title of National League, fifteenth season consisting of three divisions and the fortieth season overall. Promotion and relegation The following clubs changed divisions after the 2017–18 season: Despite a 2–1 defeat to Boston United on 21 April 2018, Salford City became 2017–18 National League North champions after Harrogate Town lost 3–1 to Bradford Park Avenue. Tom Crawford (born 30 May 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for club Hartlepool United. Early and personal life Crawford is from Blacon. Club career Early career Crawford began his career with Stoke City, before being released at the age of 15. He then joined the Academy of Chester. James Hardy (footballer)
James Paul Hardy (born 11 May 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ashton United. Club career Born in Stockport, Hardy signed for Oldham Athletic as a nine-year-old and spent six years with the club before being released in 2011. Following his release, Hardy was offered a trial by boyhood club Manchester City and signed a contract with the club in May 2012. Oluwarotimi "Timi" Mark Odusina (born 28 October 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bradford City. Career Odusina signed his first professional contract with Norwich City in 2016. In January 2019, Odusina signed on loan with National League side AFC Fylde. Alex Michael Reid (born 6 September 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Oldham Athletic. Reid began his career at Aston Villa's academy before becoming an apprentice at Walsall. He joined Swedish club Ånge IF in 2014, before returning to England to play for Solihull Moors in 2015. Andrew Mark Bond (born 16 March 1986) is an English professional footballer who last played as a central midfielder for club AFC Telford United.
