Alex Reid (footballer, Born 1995)
Alex Michael Reid (born 6 September 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Oldham Athletic. Reid began his career at Aston Villa's academy before becoming an apprentice at Walsall. He joined Swedish club Ånge IF in 2014, before returning to England to play for Solihull Moors in 2015. He then joined Rushall Olympic of the Northern Premier League and spent a year-and-a-half there. Following a successful trial, Reid signed for League One club Fleetwood Town in January 2017. During his time at Fleetwood, he was loaned out to National League clubs in the form of Wrexham and former employers Solihull Moors throughout the 2017–18 season. Reid signed for Stevenage in July 2018. He spent the last three months of the 2018–19 season on loan at AFC Fylde and helped the club to win the FA Trophy during his time there. Broadhall Way
Broadhall Way, known as the Lamex Stadium for sponsorship purposes, is an association football stadium in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. It has been the home ground of Stevenage (formerly Stevenage Borough and Stevenage Town) since the early 1960s, and has a capacity of 7,800 people. History The club plays at Broadhall Way, previously home to Stevenage Town and Stevenage Athletic. Following the bankruptcy of the town's former club, the stadium was not used for three years. The newly formed Stevenage Borough had planned on playing Hitchin Town Youth at Broadhall Way in November 1976 as a "curtain-raiser" for the new venture. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system.
