The 2019 MTN 8 was the 45th edition of South Africa's annual soccer cup competition, the MTN 8. It featured the top eight teams of the Premier Soccer League at the end of the 2018-19 season. SuperSport United Football Club (often known as SuperSport) is a South African professional football club based in Atteridgeville in Pretoria in the Gauteng province. The team currently plays in the Dstv Premiership. United is known as ''Matsatsantsa a Pitori'' amongst its supporters. They usually play their home games at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville. The Newlands Stadium, referred to as DHL Newlands for sponsorship reasons, is located in Cape Town, South Africa. The stadium has a capacity of 51,900 people, but is not an all-seater venue. The Peter Mokaba Stadium is a football and rugby union stadium in Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg), South Africa, that was used for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It has a capacity of 45,500 but for the purposes of the 2010 FIFA World Cup the seating capacity was reduced to 41,733. It is named after Peter Mokaba, a former leader of the ANC Youth League. Bidvest Stadium, is a multipurpose sports stadium in the Braampark, suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. The stadium has a dedicated field to host football matches with a capacity of 5,000 seats, and other fields to host other sports disciplines. Bradley Allan Grobler (born 25 January 1988) is a South African soccer player who plays as a striker for Premier Soccer League club SuperSport United and the South African national team.
