2018–19 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship
The 2018–19 MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship was the sixth running of the MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship. It began on 16 November 2018 at the Dubai Autodrome in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and finished on 10 February 2019 at the Madras Motor Race Track in Chennai, India. The series comprised 15 races spread across three meetings. The 2018–19 season saw Britain's Jamie Chadwick become the first female champion of the series. Sourabh Verma
Sourabh Verma (born 30 December 1992) is an Indian badminton player. He is a three time men's singles title Champion at the Indian National Championships. Verma reached a career high world ranking of no. 28 in December 2019. Career overview Sourabh Verma started his career in badminton at the young age introduced by his father Sudhir Verma. In 2011, he won the Indian National Championships in the senior singles category. Verma won his first international title by winning the Bahrain International Challenge. In the same year, he was the runner-up at India Open Grand Prix Gold after losing to the former Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat. 2018–19 Premier Badminton League (also known as Vodafone PBL for sponsorship reasons) was the fourth edition of Premier Badminton League. It was played from 22 December 2018 to 13 January 2019. Premier Badminton League
Premier Badminton League (PBL) is a team badminton league operating in India. Sportz & Live Private Limited (Sportzlive) has the rights to operate and execute the Premier Badminton League. The inaugural season of PBL was held from 2 to 17 January 2016. Delhi Dashers (formerly Delhi Acers) defeated Mumbai Rockets in the final to clinch the title. The second season began on 22 December 2016 and came to end on 14 January 2017 with the Chennai Smashers headed by P. V. Sindhu clinching the title in the finals. The third season began on 23 December 2017 and came to end on 14 January 2018 with Hyderabad Hunters headed by Carolina Marin emerging as the champions. Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). 2019 Winter Deaflympics
The 2019 Winter Deaflympics ( it, 2019 Olimpiadi invernali per non udenti), officially known as the 19th Winter Deaflympics or XIX Winter Deaflympics ( it, 19° Olimpiadi invernali per sordi), was the 19th edition of the Winter Deaflympics, and took place between the 12–21 December in Sondrio Province in Northern Italy. The opening ceremony was held in Sondrio on 12 December and curling competition began a day prior to the start of the Winter Deaflympics. Sporting events apart from curling commenced on 13 December. 36 events took place in 6 sports: alpine skiing, chess, cross-country skiing, curling, ice hockey, and snowboarding. Ramanathan Ramkumar (born 8 November 1994) is an Indian professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as No. 111 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he achieved in July 2018, and in doubles at No. 58 achieved in August 2022. He is currently the No. 1 Indian player. He has represented India in the Davis Cup. In 2018, he became the first Indian player to reach an ATP Tour singles final since Somdev Devvarman in 2011. Purav Raja ( ; born 7 December 1985) is an Indian tennis player. He specializes in doubles and competes on the ATP World Tour. He has 2 ATP world tour level titles in men's doubles. He represents India in the Davis Cup. Personal and early life Purav Raja grew up in Mumbai and began playing tennis when he was 7 years old.
