2019 Damallsvenskan
The 2019 Damallsvenskan was the 32nd season of the Swedish women's association football top division, Damallsvenskan. It began on 13 April 2019, and ended on 26 October. Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC are the defending champions, having won the competition in 2018. Kungsbacka DFF and KIF Örebro DFF were promoted from 2018 Elitettan after finishing first and second respectively. Kungsbacka makes their first appearance in Damallsvenskan. All matches can be viewed worldwide for a fee aDamallsvenskan TV. On 20 October, the winner of Damallsvenskan was settled, when FC Rosengård netted one point in the league table and gained an impregnable lead with one remaining round against then relatively new closest competitor Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC. This is their 10th win of Damallsvenskan, the first club to achieve that. They immediately put a star on top of their emblem to mark this. FC Rosengård
FC Rosengård, formerly Malmö FF Dam (1970–2007) and LdB FC Malmö (2007–2013), is a professional football club based in Malmö, Scania, Sweden. The team was established as Malmö FF Dam in 1970. It started out with playing 7 seasons in the Division 1 (until 1987), but has played in Damallsvenskan in since it formed in 1988. The team has won the league a record twelve times, the latest in 2021. As of the end of the 2015 season, the club ranks first in the overall Damallsvenskan table. Linköpings FC
Linköpings Fotboll Club is an association football club from Linköping, Sweden. The club was established in 2003 when Kenty DFF women's football club decided to merge with the premier division ice hockey club Linköpings HC under the new name Linköpings FC. The club's goal was both to establish women's football as a sport in Linköping and eventually become one of the top four teams. History In 2004, Linköpings FC finished their first year in the women's premier division ( Damallsvenskan) in sixth place. The following two seasons the club reached its goal of finishing top four in the league with a fourth-place finish in 2005 and a third-place finish in 2006. Valhalla IP
Valhalla IP is a stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden which is currently home to IFK Göteborg (women), Göteborgs DFF and Qviding FIF. The stadium is situated close the river Mölndalsån and Burgårdsparken of the town and is named after the Valhalla (Old Norse Valhöll, "Hall of the Slain") is Odin's hall in Norse mythology. The capacity of the stadium is 4,000, where 1,200 are seated. Valhalla IP had an artificial pitch added in October 2006. On October 19, 2008, during a football match between Örgryte IS and FC Väsby United, after one minute of play a railing in the stands collapsed when fans celebrated a goal scored by Marcus Allbäck. Eyravallen, currently known as Behrn Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Örebro, Sweden and home stadium for Örebro SK in Swedish top flight Allsvenskan. The stadium holds 12,645 people and was built in 1923. The stadium has been developed during the last couple of years. Eskilstuna () is a city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden.
