2018–19 Summit League Men's Basketball Season
The 2018–19 Summit League men's basketball season began with practices in October 2018, followed by the start of the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play begins in January 2019 and concludes in February 2019. The season marked the 36th season of Summit League basketball. On December 7, 2018, Mike Daum became the Summit League’s all-time leading scorer. 2018–19 North Dakota State Bison Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 North Dakota State Bison men's basketball team represented North Dakota State University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bison, led by fifth-year head coach David Richman, played their home games at the Scheels Center in Fargo, North Dakota as members of the Summit League. They finished the season 19–16, 9–7 in Summit League play, to finish in a tie for third place. As the No. 4 seed in the Summit League tournament, they defeated Oral Roberts, Western Illinois and Omaha to win the tournament championship. Emmanuel Chukwubuikem Nzekwesi (born September 5, 1997) is a Dutch professional basketball player for ESSM Le Portel of the LNB Pro A and the . He played college basketball for Oral Roberts. Early life and high school career Nzekwesi grew up in The Hague and began playing basketball at the age of two, and his parents enrolled him in lessons at age seven. Before his sophomore season in high school, he moved to Texas and began attending Byron Nelson High School. Nzekwesi scored 22 points without missing a shot against Paul Laurence Dunbar High School during his sophomore season. As a senior, Nzekwesi averaged 19.4 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. Brandon Gilbeck (born December 9, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Formosa Taishin Dreamers of the ASEAN Basketball League and P. League+. John Konchar (born March 22, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 2018–19 Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons men's basketball team represented Purdue University Fort Wayne during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
