2017–18 Cupa României
The 2017–18 Cupa României was the 80th season of the annual Romanian primary football knockout tournament. The winner, Universitatea Craiova, qualified for the third qualifying round of the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League. FC Voluntari
Fotbal Club Voluntari (), commonly known as FC Voluntari or simply Voluntari, is a Romanian professional football club based in Voluntari, Ilfov County, which competes in the Liga I. Founded in 2010, it has been playing since the 2015–16 season in the Liga I, the highest tier of the Romanian league system. Voluntari claimed its first major honour the following campaign, after defeating Astra Giurgiu in the penalty shootout of the Cupa României final, and went on to win the Supercupa României the same year. Voluntari's home ground is the Anghel Iordănescu Stadium, which has a capacity of 4,600 people. CS Gaz Metan Mediaș
Clubul Sportiv Gaz Metan Mediaș (), commonly known as Gaz Metan Mediaș or simply as Gaz Metan, was a Romanian professional football club based in Mediaș, Sibiu County. Founded in 1945 as ''Karres Mediaș'', the team spent most of its existence in the second division. It also participated in 16 seasons of the Liga I, the highest level of the Romanian league system, and lost a Cupa României final to CCA București in 1951. Gaz Metan registered its debut in European competitions in the 2011–12 campaign, when it defeated KuPS and Mainz 05 prior to being eliminated by Austria Wien in the UEFA Europa League play-off round. Fotbal Club Olimpia MCMXXI Satu Mare, commonly known as Olimpia Satu Mare or simply as Olimpia, is a Romanian professional football (soccer), football football team, club from Satu Mare, Satu Mare County, Romania, founded on 5 May 1921, re-founded in 2010 and 2018. CS Afumați
Club Sportiv Afumați, commonly known as CS Afumați or simply as Afumați, is a Romanian football club based in Afumați, Ilfov County, currently playing in the Liga III. History CS Afumați was founded in 1996 and played in Liga IV until the summer of 2011 when the club obtained a place in Liga III despite the fact that it failed to promote. In Liga III the team from Afumați has become known as a heavy-handed team finishing always in top 5, 3rd place in the first season, 5th place in the second one, then again on the 3rd place and missed promotion in front of Chindia Târgovişte at the end of 2014–15 Liga III season. Team's constancy came to fruition in the 2015–16 season when they managed to promote to Liga II even in the last round after a dramatic match against CS Ştefăneşti. Asociația Fotbal Club Chindia Târgoviște (), commonly known as Chindia Târgoviște or simply Chindia, is a Romanian professional football club based in Târgoviște, Dâmbovița County, which competes in the Liga I. In 2010, as a result of quarrels between the owner of the original team of the city—last known as FCM Târgoviște—and the Târgoviște Municipality, the latter chose to found a new entity in association with former international Gheorghe Popescu and former referee Ion Crăciunescu.
