2017 Web.com Tour Finals Graduates
This is a list of golfers who graduated from the Web.com Tour and Web.com Tour Finals in 2017. The top 25 players on the Web.com Tour's regular season money list in 2017 earned PGA Tour cards for 2018. The Finals determined the other 25 players to earn their PGA Tour cards and the priority order of all 50. As in previous seasons, the Finals featured the top 75 players on the Web.com Tour regular season money list, players ranked 126–200 on the PGA Tour's regular-season FedEx Cup points list (except players exempt through other means), non-members of the PGA Tour with enough regular-season FedExCup points to place 126–200, and special medical exemptions. To determine the initial 2018 PGA Tour priority rank, the top 25 Web.com Tour regular season players were alternated with the top 25 Web.com Tour Finals players. Talor Keith Gooch (born November 14, 1991) is an American professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Gooch was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He played college golf at Oklahoma State University. He was already drawing notice for his talent as a six-year-old. His father, Ron Gooch, played minor league professional baseball in the Texas Rangers organization. Professional career Gooch played on the PGA Tour Canada in 2015 and 2016. Adam Schenk (born January 26, 1992) is an American professional golfer. Schenk was born in Vincennes, Indiana. He played college golf at Purdue University where he won twice as a freshman. Schenk turned professional in 2015 and played on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica that year. He had six top-10 finishes with a best finish of fourth at the Abierto Mexicano de Golf and the Honduras Open. Denny McCarthy (born March 4, 1993) is an American professional golfer. Amateur career McCarthy was born in Takoma Park, Maryland. He played competitively on the junior golf circuit beginning at the age of 10, finding a lot of success on the MAPGA junior tou He played varsity golf and basketball at Georgetown Preparatory School. He played college golf at the University of Virginia where he was a two-time All-American. Kyle Thompson (born April 25, 1979) is a former American professional golfer. Professional career Thompson is a former member of the PGA Tour. He played on the PGA Tour in 2018, 2012 and 2008, failing to keep his card each time. Thompson was a member of the Nationwide Tour from 2003 to 2007. He won two events in 2007 which put him in the top 25 on the money list which earned him a PGA Tour card for 2008. He returned to the Nationwide Tour in 2009 after making nine cuts in 26 events. Nathan Clark Lashley (born December 12, 1982) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life Lashley was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He played college golf at the University of Arizona. Ben Silverman (born November 15, 1987) is a Canadian professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour. In 2017 he won the Price Cutter Charity Championship. Early and personal life Silverman was born in Thornhill, Ontario, in Canada, to Howard and Maureen Silverman, and is Jewish. He played golf at Vaughan Secondary School in Vaughan, Ontario.
