2016–17 Arizona State Sun Devils Men's Basketball Team
The 2016–17 Arizona State Sun Devils men's basketball team represented Arizona State University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Sun Devils were led by second-year head coach Bobby Hurley, and played their home games at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, Arizona as members of Pac–12 Conference. The Sun Devils finished the season 15–18, 7–11 in Pac-12 play to finish in eighth place. Bobby Hurley
Robert Matthew Hurley (born June 28, 1971) is an American college basketball coach and former professional player who is the head coach of the Arizona State Sun Devils men's basketball, Arizona State Sun Devils. He was previously the head coach at the Buffalo Bulls men's basketball, University at Buffalo. As a college player, he was a consensus first-team NCAA Men's Basketball All-Americans, All-American for the Duke Blue Devils men's basketball, Duke Blue Devils, with whom he won consecutive national championships. He is the all-time leader in assist (basketball), assists in NCAA basketball. Willie Atwood (born February 15, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for BC Yambol of the Bulgarian National Basketball League. College career Atwood spent two years playing at Connors State College and was named third-team All-NJCAA in his sophomore year. He joined the Arizona State Sun Devils in his junior year, and during the 2014–15 season averaged 3.0 points, 0.4 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 0.2 steals per game. Joseph Wheeler High School
Wheeler High School is located in northeast Cobb County, Georgia. It is near the U.S. city of Marietta, about 15 miles (24 km) northwest of downtown Atlanta. Romello White
Romello Da'Quan White (born May 9, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for Karditsa of the Greek Basket League. He played college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Ole Miss Rebels. High school career White attended Wheeler High School. He developed a relationship with former NBA player Jerry Stackhouse in high school, and Stackhouse became his mentor. Grundy, Virginia
Grundy is a town in Buchanan County, Virginia, United States, an area located within the Appalachian Mountains region. It is the county seat of Buchanan County. The town is home to the Appalachian School of Law. The population was 875 as of the 2020 census.
