NCT Dream
NCT Dream () is the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, formed by SM Entertainment in 2016. They were initially intended to be the teenaged unit of NCT with an admission-and-graduation system, in which members would leave after reaching age of majority (20 in Korean age reckoning, 19 internationally), prior to re-branding in 2020. The sub-unit debuted on August 25, 2016, with the single "Chewing Gum" and a lineup of seven members—Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung—whose average age was 15.6 years old. In late 2018, the group's leader Mark graduated from NCT Dream but returned in 2020 when began promoting as a fixed seven-member group. Kwon Hyuk (; born November 10, 1992), better known by his stage name Dean (딘), is a South Korean alternative R&B singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer. Kim Ji-won (; born December 21, 1995), known by his stage name Bobby () is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and member of iKon under YG Entertainment. In 2016, he formed a sub-unit with Mino under the name MOBB. He is best known for finishing in first place on Mnet's survival show: ''Show Me The Money 3''. WJSN (; ), also known as Cosmic Girls, is a South Korean girl group formed by Starship Entertainment. The group debuted on February 25, 2016, with the extended play ''Would You Like?'' and with twelve members: Seola, Xuanyi, Bona, Exy, Soobin, Luda, Dawon, Eunseo, Cheng Xiao, Meiqi, Yeoreum and Dayoung. Vromance (), stylized as VROMANCE, is a South Korean vocal group formed by RBW in 2016. The group debuted in July 2016 with their extended play ''The Action''. Career Pre-debut Prior to their debut, the four members worked as vocal trainers for Korean pop idols and recorded guide songs for singers. In August 2011, the group's leader Park Jang-hyun was a contestant on the singing contest ''Superstar K3'', but later was eliminated. Voisper (; stylized in all caps) was a South Korean vocal group formed in Incheon. It consisted of vocalists Daegwang, Kwangho, Kangsan, and Choonggi, all of whom became friends in high school. Victon ( ko, 빅톤; stylized as VICTON, an acronym for Voice to New World) is a South Korean boy group formed in 2016 by IST Entertainment. ''Sister's Slam Dunk'' () is a South Korean reality show that aired every Friday on KBS 2TV from April 8 to December 2, 2016. The show's first season featured an all-female cast consisting of Ra Mi-ran, Kim Sook, Hong Jin-kyung, Min Hyo-rin, Jessi and Tiffany, and followed their attempts at fulfilling each cast member's dream using a budget of ₩2,196,000 or approximately $2,000. The cast members formed a special girl group named "Unnies" () and released a Park Jin-young-produced single titled "Shut Up", featuring You Hee-yeol, in July 2016. The East Light (Hangul: 더 이스트라이트, stylized as TheEastLight.) was a South Korean band formed by Media Line Entertainment. The band originally consisted of six members, who made their official debut with the single "Holla" on November 3, 2016. Members Seokcheol and Seunghyun later spoke out and filed a lawsuit against the agency, while Media Line Entertainment has removed Eunsung, Junwook, Sagang and Woojin from the group to prevent future complications from the lawsuit.
