2015–16 Boston College Eagles Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Boston College Eagles women's basketball team represented Boston College during the 2015–16 college basketball season. The Eagles, were led by fourth year head coach Erik Johnson. The Eagles, members of the Atlantic Coast Conference, played their home games at the Conte Forum. They finished the season 15–16, 2–14 in ACC play to finish in fourteenth place. Erik Johnson (basketball)
Erik Robert Johnson (born March 21, 1988) is an American ice hockey defenseman for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nicknamed the "Condor", Johnson previously played for the St. Louis Blues, who selected him with the first overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, as well as the Colorado Avalanche. Additionally, he has represented the United States in numerous tournaments. Johnson won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022. Johnson was drafted from USA Hockey's National Team Development Program and played one season at the University of Minnesota before joining the NHL with St. Louis in 2007. In 2011, he was traded to Colorado, where he played until signing with the Buffalo Sabres for the 2023-2024 NHL season. The Denver Pioneers are the sports teams of the University of Denver (DU). They play in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I.
