The 2015 Second Division Football Tournament was the first season under its current league division format. The season began on 24 July and ended on 14 September. Structure and rule changes Second division will be played for two rounds according to the changes brought to the 2015 in Dhivehi football, 2015 season. ;Round 1 * Teams play against each other once. * Top 5 teams qualified for Round 2. * Bottom 2 teams gets relegated to next season's Third Division Football Tournament, Third Division. ;Round 2 * Teams play against each other once. * Team to top the league table at the end will be the champions and gets promoted to next season's Dhivehi Premier League. * Second team will get qualified for the Dhivehi Premier League play-off. ;Including Maldives U19 team * As the Maldives under-19 team will be included in the Second Division Football Tournament from this year onwards, this team will neither be promoted to Dhivehi Premier League even if they finish it first, nor relegat ...

Second Division Football Tournament
The Maldivian Second Division Football Tournament is a football league tournament in the Maldives, organized by the Football Association of Maldives. A new structure for the Second Division Football Tournament was introduced for the 2015 season. Structure Changes were brought to the second division league structure 23 December 2014, by the FAM's FIFA normalizing committee. The division now consists of 10 clubs and two rounds are played. All teams play against each other once in the first round and the top five clubs will be qualified for the second round. These 5 clubs play against each other once and the club with most points is declared as champion, and promoted to the Dhivehi Premier League. Runner up will be qualified for the play-off match between the Dhivehi Premier League 9th position team for a spot in the next season's Premier League. Maldivian Third Division Football Tournament
Third Division Football Tournament is the third division of the Maldives Football League System, organized by the Football Association of Maldives. A new structure for the Third Division Football Tournament was introduced for the 2015 season. Structure Changes were brought to the third division league structure 23 December 2014, by the FAM's FIFA normalizing committee. According to the new structure, the third division consists of 9 zones under 2 groups. Joint zone 1—8 includes clubs from all atolls of the Maldives, and zone 9 is played between clubs from Male'. Both zones plays own qualification tournament and the champion clubs will be qualified for the final round, which is also referred as ''Male' round''. The final round consists of 10 clubs divided into two groups of five. Each club plays against the othe in the group once and the top two clubs advance into the semi-finals. Club Green Streets is a professional football club based in Malé, Maldives that competes in the Dhivehi Premier League, the top flight of Maldivian football. The club was founded in 2010, starting in the third division, and earned promotion to the 2nd division as the runners up in 2012. They later earned promotion to the first division in 2016 after an unbeaten season. The club and its head coach Sobah Mohamed has mutually decided to continue their journey further by taking on the club's latest and biggest challenge since its inception. The club was established in the hopes of uniting the youth of Machangolhi through the power of football.
