2015 Renault Sport Trophy
The 2015 Renault Sport Trophy season was the inaugural season of the Renault–supported touring car category, a one-make racing series that is part of the World Series by Renault. The season began at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on 30 May and finished on 18 October at Circuito de Jerez. The series formed part of the World Series by Renault meetings at six triple header rounds. Andrea Pizzitola won the Elite Class, Dario Capitanio gained both the Prestige Class and the Endurance Trophy, sharing the car with David Fumanelli. Oregon Team won the teams' championship. Nicky Pastorelli (born 11 April 1983) is a Dutch professional racing driver. Motorsports career Euro Formula 3000 Born in The Hague, Pastorelli participated in Euro Formula 3000 for Scuderia Fama in 2003. He finished on the podium twice and placed fifth in the season championship. For 2004, Pastorelli signed with the defending champion Draco Junior Team. Sarah Bovy (born 15 May 1989 in Liège) is a Belgian female racing driver. She has recently competed with the Iron Dames team in multiple series, including the FIA World Endurance Championship and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Biography Following two years in karting, Bovy began her racing career as a Formula Renault Academy driver in Formula Renault 1.6 Belgium. Paul-Loup Chatin (born 19 October 1991) is a professional racing driver from France who currently competes in the European Le Mans Series with IDEC Sport. Andrés Méndez (born July 30, 1992) is a Colombian racing driver. Racing career Méndez began kart racing in 2008, encouraged by his father and grandfather, who were both professional racers. He raced in the Easykart Colombia Junior Class, finishing in fourth place at the end of the season. In 2009 he finished second in the KZ2 Class Open Colombia, and was recognized as ¨Rookie of the Year¨.
