Andrés Méndez
Andrés Méndez (born July 30, 1992) is a Colombian racing driver. Racing career Méndez began kart racing in 2008, encouraged by his father and grandfather, who were both professional racers. He raced in the Easykart Colombia Junior Class, finishing in fourth place at the end of the season. In 2009 he finished second in the KZ2 Class Open Colombia, and was recognized as ¨Rookie of the Year¨. He also raced internationally at the Industry Cup in Pomposa, Italy, and participated in an Easykart World Grand Final in Siena, Italy. Méndez attended the Jim Russell Racing Driver School, and won the Six Hours of Bogotá in the FL2000 class. In 2010, Méndez took part in the Florida Winter Tour in the Tag Senior class. He was selected to be part of the Jim Russell's Future Drive test, guided by Allan McNish. At the end of this year, he again won the Six Hours of Bogotá in a FL2000. Auto GP
Auto GP, sometimes referred to as the Auto GP World Series and formerly known as both Euro Formula 3000 and the Euroseries 3000, was a European formula racing series. The series' roots can be traced back to 1999 and the Italian Formula 3000 series, organised by Pierluigi Corbari, which used old Lola chassis with Zytek engines. The teams used the Lola T96/50 in the first two years. At the beginning nearly all races were held in Italy, but very quickly the series expanded and had venues in different European countries. The series became European Formula 3000 in 2001. The next three years (2001–2003) saw the Lola B99/50 in use. For 2004, Superfund became the series' title sponsor, planning to use a new car with a new set of regulations, named Formula Superfund, but the funding was pulled before the 2005 season got under way and the series was cancelled. The Grand Prix of Baltimore presented by SRT was an IndyCar Series and American Le Mans Series race for 3 years held on a street circuit in Baltimore, Maryland. The inaugural race was held September 4, 2011. ESPN said it was the best inaugural street race in North America in the last 30 years. The races were contested on a temporary street circuit around the Inner Harbor area of downtown Baltimore. Baltimore Racing Development signed a multi-year contract with IndyCar and the City of Baltimore to organize the race, but the city terminated their contract with BRD at the end of 2011 due to unpaid debts. On February 15, 2012 it was announced that the city of Baltimore had entered into a five-year agreement with Downforce Racing to manage the race. The Edmonton Indy was a round of the IndyCar Series held at a temporary circuit set up at the Edmonton City Centre Airport near the downtown area of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The Grand Prix of Toronto (known for sponsorship reasons as the Honda Indy Toronto) is an annual Indy Car race, held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Originally known as the Molson Indy Toronto, it was part of the Champ Car World Series from 1986 to 2007. After a one-year hiatus, it has been part of the NTT IndyCar Series schedule since 2009. Iowa Speedway is a 7/8-mile (1.4 km) paved oval motor racing track in Newton, Iowa, United States, approximately east of Des Moines. It has over 25,000 permanent seats as well as a unique multi-tiered RV viewing area along the backstretch. Barber Motorsports Park is an multi-purpose racing facility located in Birmingham, Alabama. It was built by George W. Barber, and includes the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum. 2014 German Formula Three Season
The 2014 ATS Formel 3 Cup was the 12th and final edition of the ATS F3 Cup. The final season began on 26 April at Oschersleben and finished on 5 October at Hockenheim after eight race weekends with three races scheduled for each weekend. However, one race was cancelled due to fog, and thus the championship was held over a total of 23 races. Category veteran Markus Pommer finished the season as the champion, after comfortably winning the most races during the season.
