2015 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series
The 2015 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series was the seventh Racecar Euro Series season, and the third under the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series branding. The Elite 1 championship was won for the third time in four years by Ander Vilariño in the No. 2 TFT Racing Chevrolet Camaro. He scored three victories during the season, and ultimately won the championship by 35 points ahead of CAAL Racing driver Alon Day, who also took three victories – coming at the final two meetings of the season, at Magione and Zolder – during his first season in the championship. Third place, 13 points further in arrears, was Vilariño's team-mate Romain Iannetta, who won a race at Brands Hatch. Circuit Ricardo Tormo
Circuit Ricardo Tormo, also known as ''Circuit de Valencia'' and officially named ''Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo'', is a motorsport race track located in Cheste (Valencian Community, Spain) and built in 1999. The track is named after Spanish, two-time world champion Grand Prix motorcycle racer Ricardo Tormo (1952–1998), who died in 1998 of leukemia. It has a capacity of 165,000 and a main straight of . The track hosts the MotoGP Valencian Community Grand Prix. Stienes Longin (born 30 July 1991 in Leuven, Flemish Brabant) is a Belgian professional racing driver. Longin currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series driving the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro for PK Carsport in the Elite 1 class and in Belcar Endurance Championship driving the No. 11 Norma M20 FC for Krafft Racing. He previously won the Euro Series Elite 2 championship in 2016. He is also a one-time winner at the 24 Hours of Zolder, having scored his first overall victory in 2019. Domenico "Mimmo" Schiattarella (born 17 November 1967) is an Italian racing driver. He participated in 7 Formula One Grands Prix for Simtek, debuting on October 16, 1994, and finishing when the team folded the next year. Mathias Lauda (born 30 January 1981) is an Austrian racing driver currently racing for Aston Martin Racing as a factory driver in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He is the son of the late three-time Formula One world champion Niki Lauda and his first wife, Marlene. He has a brother, Lukas, who is currently his manager. Career Lauda was born during his father's temporary retirement from F1. Unlike many drivers, who start out in karting, Lauda debuted in 2002 in Formula Nissan 2000. Christophe Bouchut (born 24 September 1966 in Voiron, Isère) is a French professional racing driver. He currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving for Dexwet-df1 Racing and Alex Caffi Motorsport in a part-time effort. He won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1993. He was named as the first driver for the F1 Larrousse team for the 1995 season, but the team withdrew before the first race. Jeffrey Lynn Earnhardt (born June 22, 1989) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro for Alpha Prime Racing.
