The 2015 Aragon motorcycle Grand Prix was the fourteenth round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Ciudad del Motor de Aragón in Alcañiz on 27 September 2015. In the MotoGP class, Marc Márquez took his seventh pole position of the season and broke his fastest lap qualifying record where he set the fastest lap record since 2014; with 1:46.645 — but he crashed out of the race on the second lap while pursuing Jorge Lorenzo, who was the winner. Second place was battled between Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi, with Pedrosa eventually prevailing ahead of Rossi. Romano Fenati (born 15 January 1996) is an Italian motorcycle racer who has competed at Grand Prix level. He raced for the early part of the season in Moto2, before being sacked by principal Luca Boscoscuro. In September 2022, Fenati signed with Snipers Team to race for the team in the 2023 Moto3 World Championship. Fenati's career was marred with controversy. Forward Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in the Moto2 World Championship. History The team started competing in the MotoGP class as the Hayate Racing Team, a scaled down version of the Kawasaki factory team that withdrew from MotoGP for the championship due to the Great Recession. The team took its name from the Japanese word ''Hayate'' meaning hurricane. The team ran one Kawasaki ZX-RR motorcycle that was ridden by Marco Melandri. Claudio Corti (born 25 June 1987) is a Grand Prix motorcycle racer from Italy. He currently competes in the British National Superstock 1000 Championship aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10R. Career Early career Born in Como, Corti progressed up the motorcycling ladder through the Italian 125GP Championship and by 2004, he had finished as runner-up in the Italian Supersport Championship. In 2005, Corti moved into the European Superstock 600cc Cup, run on the Superbike World Championship support package. The 2015 Indianapolis motorcycle Grand Prix was the tenth round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana on 9 August 2015. In the MotoGP category, Marc Márquez took his fifth pole position of the season and ultimately took his third win of the season — and his fifth consecutive win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Márquez's victory was also the 700th victory in the Grand Prix history for the Honda brand. Karel Abraham (born 2 January 1990) is a retired motorcycle racer from the Czech Republic. He is the third member of the Elías family to compete in motorcycle racing. The 2014 Aragon motorcycle Grand Prix was the fourteenth round of the 2014 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Motorland Aragón in Alcañiz on 28 September 2014. The MotoGP race started in dry conditions, but as the race progressed, the conditions closed in and rain started to fall. Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo pitted earlier than his rivals, and as conditions continued to deteriorate, Lorenzo proved to be the quickest rider on track. Accordingly, Lorenzo went on to win the race – his first victory of the season – by over 10 seconds from Forward Racing rider Aleix Espargaró. Espargaró's result was the first instance of an Open class competitor finishing on the podium.
