2014–15 UAB Blazers Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 UAB Blazers men's basketball team represented the University of Alabama at Birmingham during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Blazers, led by third year head coach Jerod Haase, played their home games at Bartow Arena. They were members of Conference USA. They finished the season 20–16, 12–6 in 2014–15 Conference USA men's basketball season, C-USA play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They defeated 2014–15 WKU Hilltoppers basketball team, WKU, 2014–15 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs basketball team, Louisiana Tech, and 2014–15 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders men's basketball team, Middle Tennessee to become champions of the 2015 Conference USA men's basketball tournament, C-USA tournament. Jerod Haase
Jerod Albert Haase (born April 1, 1974) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach for Stanford Cardinal men's basketball, Stanford Cardinal men's team of the Pac-12 Conference. Haase played college basketball at the University of California, Berkeley from 1992 to 1993, and then transferred to the University of Kansas to play under Roy Williams (coach), Roy Williams from 1994 to 1997. Haase was a Naismith Award, Naismith and Wooden Award candidate while at Kansas. At Kansas, he only missed two games out of 101 and averaged 12.5 points per game, scoring 1,246 points over the span of his career. He was a member of the Big Eight Conference, Big Eight all defensive team as a Junior (education year), junior, and played at the World University Games in 1995. 2013–14 Conference USA Men's Basketball Season
The 2013–14 Conference USA men's basketball season began with practices in October 2013, followed by the start of the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Preseason Preseason polls C-USA was the only conference not to publish an official preseason poll. However, other publications did publish preseason projections. Although CBS Sports did not rank all the teams, they selected Louisiana Tech as their projected champion and mentioned Southern Miss and UTEP as contenders. Jordan Tyler Swing (born December 31, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for Western Kentucky and UAB before playing professionally in the NBA G League, Australia, Spain, Belgium, Israel, and Ukraine. Ashburn is a census-designated place (CDP) in Loudoun County, Virginia, United States. At the 2010 United States Census, its population was 43,511, up from 3,393 twenty years earlier. Port Arthur, Texas
