2014–15 Greek Basketball Cup
The 2014–15 Greek Basketball Cup competition was the 40th edition of the top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition of Greece. The competition started on September 21, 2014, and ended on April 5, 2015. Panathinaikos beat Apollon Patras by a score of 53–68 in the Greek Cup Finals, to win its fourth straight cup title, and 16th cup title overall. Panathinaikos' Loukas Mavrokefalidis was named the Greek Basketball Cup Most Valuable Player. Format The top six placed teams from the top-tier level Greek Basket League 2013–14 season, had an automatic bye to the quarterfinals. While the eight lower placed teams from the Greek Basket League 2013–14 season, along with the 14 teams from the 2nd-tier level Greek A2 Basket League 2014–15 season, played in preliminary rounds, competing for the other two quarterfinals places. OAKA Indoor Hall
The O.A.C.A. Olympic Indoor Hall (honorarily named ''Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall'' since 2016), which is a part of the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (O.A.C.A.) «Spyros Louis» ( el, O.A.K.A. «Σπύρος Λούης»), was completed in 1995, and was the largest indoor venue in use for sporting events at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. Nea Smyrni
Nea Smyrni ( el, Νέα Σμύρνη, ''Néa Smýrni'', "New Smyrna") is a municipality in South Athens, Greece. At the 2011 census, it had 73,076 inhabitants. PAOK Sports Arena
P.A.O.K. Sports Arena ( el, Κλειστό γήπεδο ΠΑΟΚ) is an indoor arena located in Pylaia, Thessaloniki, Greece, and it hosts the men's basketball, women's basketball, men's volleyball and women's volleyball departments of the multi-sports club PAOK. PAOK Sports Arena is the largest privately owned arena in Greece. It was opened in 2000, and in the same year, it hosted the EuroLeague and Greek Cup final-fours.
