General Secretary Of The Communist Party Of China
The general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party () is the head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the sole ruling party of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Since 1989, the CCP general secretary has been the paramount leader of the PRC. Overview According to the Constitution of the Chinese Communist Party, the general secretary serves as an ''ex officio'' member of the Politburo Standing Committee, China's ''de facto'' top decision-making body. The general secretary is also the head of the Secretariat. Since 1989, the holder of the post has been, except for transitional periods, the Chairman of the Central Military Commission, making the holder the supreme commander of the People's Liberation Army. Wang Xuejun
Wang Xuejun (; born December 1952) is a Chinese politician and former senior regional official. He served as the Governor of Anhui from 2013 to 2015, then was promoted to Communist Party Secretary of Anhui, a position he held from 2015 to 2016. Career Wang Xuejun is a native of Nanpi County, Hebei province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in July 1975. He is a graduate of Hebei Institute of Technology (now Hebei University of Technology). He began work as a regular factory worker. He climbed the ranks in Cangzhou, Hebei, eventually rising to become the city's vice mayor. He then served as party chief of Langfang. He worked in his native Hebei until 2004. From 2004 to 2013 he was transferred to Beijing to head the State Bureau for Letters and Calls, the agency in charge of processing petitions from ordinary citizens. Heilongjiang
Heilongjiang () formerly romanized as Heilungkiang, is a province in northeast China. The standard one-character abbreviation for the province is (). It was formerly romanized as "Heilungkiang". It is the northernmost and easternmost province of the country and contains China's northernmost point (in Mohe City along the Amur) and easternmost point (at the junction of the Amur and Ussuri rivers). The province is bordered by Jilin to the south and Inner Mongolia to the west. It also shares a border with Russia (Amur Oblast, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Khabarovsk Krai, Primorsky Krai and Zabaykalsky Krai) to the north and east. Zhang Qingwei
Zhang Qingwei (; born 7 November 1961) is a Chinese politician, business executive, and aerospace engineer who is the current Communist Party Secretary of Hunan, in office since 18 October 2021. He was Communist Party Secretary of Heilongjiang, former Governor of Hebei, and former chairperson of the Commission for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (COSTIND). Prior to his government career he was president of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) and chairman of Comac, an aerospace manufacturer. Zhang was well known for his work for military contractors, and headed the team that designed and constructed the Xian JH-7 "flying leopard" combat aircraft. Jiang Dingzhi (; born September 1954) is a Chinese politician and current Chairman of the Jiangsu People's Political Consultative Conference (''zhengxie''). He holds a master's degree in Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Jiang has successively served as the Party Secretary of the city of Wuxi, Vice Governor of Jiangsu province, Vice Chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, Governor of Hainan province, and, since December 2014, Vice-Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress. Chen Min'er
Chen Min'er (; born 29 September 1960) is a Chinese politician and a member of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party who is serving as the Communist Party Secretary of Tianjin. From 2017 to 2022, he served as the Communist Party Secretary of Chongqing and a member of the 19th Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party. Chen spent most of his career in his native Zhejiang province, serving as head of the provincial department of media, and Vice Governor of Zhejiang. In 2013, he was transferred to Guizhou as governor, and in 2015 promoted to provincial Communist Party Secretary. Zhu Xiaodan
Zhu Xiaodan (; born January 1953) is the Chinese politician who served as Governor of Guangdong from 2011 to 2016. A lifelong Communist functionary, Zhu was appointed Vice Governor of Guangdong in February 2010 and became acting Governor in November 2011 following the resignation of Huang Huahua. Liu Weiping
Liu Weiping (; born May 1953) is a Chinese politician, currently serving as Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He served as Governor of Gansu from 2010 to 2016, and prior to that, Vice-Governor of Qinghai Province and mayor of Nanchang. Career Aeronautical industry Liu Weiping is a native of Fujin, Heilongjiang province. He entered the work force in 1968 as a sent-down youth in Nanchang County, Jiangxi province, and in 1970 started working at the Hongdu Machinery Building Factory (now Hongdu Aviation Industry Group) under the then Ministry of Aerospace Industry.
