The Washington Redskins season was the franchise's 83rd season in the National Football League and the first season under head coach Jay Gruden. NFC East
The National Football Conference – Eastern Division or NFC East is one of the four divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It currently has four members: the Dallas Cowboys (based in Arlington, Texas), New York Giants (based in East Rutherford, New Jersey), Philadelphia Eagles (based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), and the Washington Commanders (based in Landover, Maryland). Stanford Cardinal Football
The Stanford Cardinal football program represents Stanford University in college football at the NCAA Division I FBS level and is a member of the Pac-12 Conference's North Division. The team is known as the Cardinal, adopted prior to the 1982 season. Stanford was known as the "Cardinal" for its first two decades of athletic competition, then more commonly as the "Cardinals" until 1930. The name was changed to the "Indians" from 1930 to January 1972, and back to the "Cardinals" from 1972 through 1981. Lache J. Seastrunk (pronounced ; born July 29, 1991) is a former American football running back. He played college football at Baylor. Seastrunk was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Early years A native of Temple, Texas, Seastrunk attended Temple High School, where he finished his high school career with 4,127 yards and 52 touchdowns. Ryan Joseph Grant (born December 19, 1990) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Tulane and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Early life Grant was born in Beaumont, Texas and attended West Brook Senior High School, where he was a three-year letterman. He helped the Bruins win the District 21-5A title as a senior and advance to the state playoffs all three years. He was named first-team all-district as a senior after hauling in 42 receptions for 717 yards and seven touchdowns. As a junior, he caught 41 passes for 658 yards and four scores. Bashaud Breeland (born January 30, 1992) is an American football cornerback who is a free agent. He played college football at Clemson, and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He also played for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Kansas City Chiefs, having won Super Bowl LIV with the latter. In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center and the tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for blocking. Spencer Long
Spencer Long (born November 8, 1990) is a former American football center. He played college football at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He has also been a member of the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers. College career Long attended Elkhorn High School in Elkhorn, Nebraska. He played defensive end on the Antlers football team, and also played baseball. He walked on to the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team for the 2009 season.
