Spencer Long
Spencer Long (born November 8, 1990) is a former American football center. He played college football at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He has also been a member of the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers. College career Long attended Elkhorn High School in Elkhorn, Nebraska. He played defensive end on the Antlers football team, and also played baseball. He walked on to the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team for the 2009 season. He redshirted in 2009, and did not appear in a game in 2010. In 2011, Long was one of three Nebraska offensive linemen to start in all of the Huskers' games. Kory Lichtensteiger
Kory Adam Lichtensteiger (born March 22, 1985) is a former American football center who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Bowling Green State University. Lichtensteiger also played for the Minnesota Vikings and spent seven seasons with the Washington Redskins. Early life Lichtensteiger played high school football at Crestview High School in Convoy, Ohio where he was a four-year scholar athlete in both basketball and football. Shawn Sisifo Lauvao (born October 26, 1987) is a former American football guard. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arizona State. College career Lauvao started his last 33 games at Arizona State—17 at left guard, 12 at left tackle and four at right tackle. Brandon Scherff
Brandon Scherff (born December 26, 1991) is an American football guard for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Iowa and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, where he played seven seasons and made five Pro Bowls before joining the Jaguars in 2022. Christopher Sean Chester (born January 12, 1983) is a former American football guard. He played college football at Oklahoma and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He also played for the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons. The 2012 Nebraska Cornhuskers football team represented the University of Nebraska in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Bo Pelini and played their home games at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Cornhuskers finished with 10–4 overall, 7–1 Legends, to become Big Ten Legends Division champions. In the postseason, the team was invited to the 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section).
