The 2014 FINA Diving World Series is the eighth edition of FINA Diving World Series. FINA Diving World Series
The FINA Diving World Series is a diving competition series held annually since 2007. This series is held around the world (the current series includes 4 events) where the divers collect points depending on their results to determine the World Series champions. This series is reserved for only the best divers in the World and national wild cards. Most of the divers are medallists from previous Olympics, World Championships and World Cups. For individual events, points were counted separately for each person. Chen Aisen (, born 22 October 1995) is a Chinese diver. He is a double gold medal winner at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He won gold in the men's synchronised 10m platform competition with diving partner Lin Yue, as well as gold in the men's individual 10m platform. He has also won golds in the World Championships partnered with Yang Hao and Cao Yuan. Early life Chen was born in Guangzhou, China. He started diving while he was at primary school, selected for his potential in diving. He studied at Jinan University in Guangzhou. Yang Jian (diver)
Yang Jian (; born 10 June 1994) is a Chinese diver. Yang started practicing gymnastics on his parents' will at age of 4, and 5 years later took up diving. His desire for risky jumps quickly brought him the nickname “King of Difficulty” amongst teammates. He won gold in the 10m platform event at the 2014 FINA Diving World Cup. Shortly after his international debut, he became the first one in history to accomplish a dive with difficulty of 4.1 since the regulation was introduced and set a world record for a single jump to 123 points. But in the following year, Yang finished his first tour to the world championships due to knee injury with the unexpected 10th place. Patrick Hausding (born 9 March 1989) is a German diver. At the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, with his teammate Lars Rüdiger, Hausding won a bronze medal in the men's synchronized 3 metre springboard competition. However, he did not repeat his bronze medal success in the men's 3 m springboard competition from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, failing to proceed beyond the preliminary round in Tokyo, finishing 21st in a field of 29 divers. Stephan Feck
Stephan Feck (born 17 February 1990 in Leipzig, East Germany) is a German diver who competes in the Men's 1 and 3 metre springboard. He won the silver medal at the 2010 European Aquatics Championships in Budapest and at the 2011 European Diving Championships in Turin. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's 3m Springboard but a calamity occurred after he slipped off the board and landed hard on the water on his back, scoring him zero from the judges. Lin Yue (; born July 24, 1991, in Chaozhou, Guangdong) is a Chinese diver and a double Olympic gold medal winner. He competed for Team China in Diving at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and won gold with Huo Liang in the Men's synchronized 10 metre platform.
