Yang Jian (diver)
Yang Jian (; born 10 June 1994) is a Chinese diver. Yang started practicing gymnastics on his parents' will at age of 4, and 5 years later took up diving. His desire for risky jumps quickly brought him the nickname “King of Difficulty” amongst teammates. He won gold in the 10m platform event at the 2014 FINA Diving World Cup. Shortly after his international debut, he became the first one in history to accomplish a dive with difficulty of 4.1 since the regulation was introduced and set a world record for a single jump to 123 points. But in the following year, Yang finished his first tour to the world championships due to knee injury with the unexpected 10th place. Another right heel injury during training in November 2018 forced him to take surgery and rest for a month. Luzhou
Luzhou (; Sichuanese Pinyin: Nu2zou1; Luzhou dialect: ), formerly transliterated as Lu-chou or Luchow, is a prefecture-level city located in the southeast of Sichuan Province, China. The city, named Jiangyang until the Southern and Northern Dynasties, is known as the "Liquor City" (). Situated at the confluence of the Tuo River and the Yangtze River, Luzhou is not only an important port on the Yangtze river, but also the largest port in both size and output in Sichuan province since Chongqing was separated from Sichuan province in 1997. 2015 World Aquatics Championships
The 16th FINA World Aquatics Championships, FINA World Championships (russian: Чемпионат мира по водным видам спорта 2015), also Aquatics 2015, were held in Kazan, Russia from 24 July to 9 August 2015. Russia hosted this event for the first time. The number of participating national teams (190), athletes (2,400) and the number of medals (75) were the most ever amongst these championships. This was the first time the World Aquatics Championships partially overlaps with the FINA World Masters Championships that have a number of athletes (near 5,500), countries (110) and medals (635) which are the most ever also.
