2013–14 Manhattan Jaspers Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Manhattan Jaspers basketball team represented Manhattan College during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Jaspers, led by third year head coach Steve Masiello, played their home games at Draddy Gymnasium and were members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 25–8, 15–5 in MAAC play to finish in second place. They were champions of the MAAC tournament to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the second round to Louisville. Steve Masiello
Stephen John Masiello Jr. (born September 2, 1977) is an American college basketball coach and a former player. He most recently served as men's head coach at Manhattan College. Masiello is a native of White Plains, New York. He graduated from Iona Grammar School in 1991 and attended Archbishop Stepinac High School for two years before transferring to the Harvey School in Katonah. Masiello played collegiately as a Walk-on (sports), walk-on at Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball, Kentucky for coaches Rick Pitino and Tubby Smith from 1996 to 2000. Though he rarely played, he was a member of two Final Four teams, including the 1997–98 Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team, 1997–98 Wildcats team that won the national championship. Redbird Arena
CEFCU Arena, formerly known as Redbird Arena, is a 10,200-seat multi-purpose arena located in Normal, Illinois, on the campus of Illinois State University. Built in 1989, the building is notable for its use of a Teflon-coated roof that gives off a "glow" during night events. Three Illinois State Redbirds athletic teams use the facility as their home court: men's basketball, women's basketball, and women's volleyball. Levien Gymnasium
Francis S. Levien Gymnasium is a 2,500-seat arena at Columbia University in Morningside Heights, Manhattan, New York City. Named for New York lawyer-industrialist Francis S. Levien (1905–95), it is home to the Columbia Men's and Women's Basketball teams and the Women's Volleyball team. It is also used for gym classes in between games. Tom Gola Arena
Tom Gola Arena, The Tom, The Gola, is a 3,400-seat multi-purpose arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania situated inside the TruMark Financial Center. It is home to the La Salle University Explorers men's and women's basketball teams as well as its volleyball team. It is named after former Explorers captain and head coach Tom Gola, currently in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The building was opened on February 21, 1998, as the men's basketball team defeated Virginia Tech 74-64. La Salle's Explorers had not played basketball on campus since leaving Wister Hall in 1955, the season after the 1954 NCAA Championship.
