2013–14 EuroLeague Women
The 2013–14 season is the 18th edition of Europe's premier basketball tournament for women – EuroLeague Women since it was rebranded to its current format. Pots Defending champions UMMC Ekaterinburg, 2013 Runners-up Fenerbahçe and EuroLeague Women four-time winners Sparta&K M. R. Vidnoje have been given top seeds status. The teams are divided into two groups of 7 teams and one group of 6 teams. Regular season The draw took place on 5 July 2013 in Munich, Germany. The teams were divided in two groups of seven and one group of six teams. 14 teams will progress to contest the playoffs while the organiser of the Final Eight will qualify automatically to the season ending tournament. Kelsey Renée Bone (born December 31, 1991) is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. Eligible players are female basketball players who are in their sophomore or junior in high school. Sandrine Gruda (born 25 June 1987) is a French professional basketball player for PF Schio. Her primary position is center. Before the WNBA She is the daughter of Ulysse Gruda, who played for the French men's national basketball team, and grew up on Martinique. Sopron Basket is a Hungarian women's basketball club from Sopron. Founded in 1921 as the women's section of Soproni VSE, it has played in the Hungarian National Championship since 1986. It plays its home games in the Aréna Sopron. Sopron won its first national championship in 1993, making its debut in the Euroleague the following season. Settled in the top positions, the team played in subsequent years the Ronchetti Cup, which it won in 1998 beating ASPTT Aix-en-Provence.
