2013–14 Bayernliga
The 2013–14 season of the Bayernliga, the second highest association football league in Bavaria, was the sixth season of the league at tier five (V) of the German football league system and the 69th season overall since establishment of the league in 1945. Bayernliga
The Bayernliga (English: Bavarian league) is the highest amateur football league and the second highest football league (under the Regionalliga Bayern) in the state of Bavaria (german: Bayern) and the Bavarian football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. From the 2012–13 season onwards, the league has been divided once more into a northern and a southern division, having previously placed in single division format since 1963. The league sits directly under the Regionalliga Bayern and above the Landesligas, which were expanded in number from three to five at the end of the 2011–12 season. FC Amberg
FC Amberg is a German football club from the city of Amberg, Bavaria. The team was established on 6 April 1921 as ''Amberg Fußballverein'' and on 17 January 1939 adopted the name ''Verein für Leibesübungen Amberg''. __TOC__ History Following World War II on 9 November 1945 the club merged with ''Turnverein 1861 Amberg'' to form ''Turn- und Spielverein Amberg''. SpVgg Jahn Forchheim
The SpVgg Jahn Forchheim is a German association football club from the town of Forchheim, Bavaria. Forchheim is located in Upper Franconia but the club competes in the football leagues of neighbouring Middle Franconia. Apart from football, the club also offers other sports like tennis, badminton and volleyball. The club's greatest success came in 1994, when it earned promotion to the tier-four Fußball-Bayernliga for the first time. After six seasons at this level in which the side always finished in the top half of the table, ''Jahn'' decided to voluntarily withdraw from the league in 2000. TSV Aubstadt
The TSV Aubstadt is a German association football club from the town of Aubstadt, Bavaria. The club qualified for the new northern division of the expanded Bayernliga in 2012, the fifth tier of the German football league system. In 2019, the team promoted to tier-four Regionalliga Bayern after winning the Bayernliga Nord championship. History For most of its history the club has been a non-descript amateur side in local Bavarian football. In post-Second World War football Aubstadt played in the local C-Klasse, the lowest division of the Bavarian football league system. The SSV Jahn Regensburg II is a German association football club from the city of Regensburg, Bavaria. It is the reserve team of SSV Jahn Regensburg. VfL Frohnlach
VfL Frohnlach is a German association football club from the municipality of Frohnlach in Ebersdorf bei Coburg, Bavaria. __TOC__ History The club was established as ''Sports Club Arminia Frohnlach'' in 1919 and, after a 1925 merger with ''Turnverein Frohnlach'', became ''Verein für Leibesübungen 1919 e. SC Eltersdorf
The SC Eltersdorf is a German association football club from the Eltersdorf district of Erlangen, Bavaria. An amateur club who has mostly played in the lower leagues of Bavaria, the club achieved its greatest success in 2011–12 when it earned promotion to the Regionalliga. History While football was played in Eltersdorf as early as 1909, in the form of the ''Franken Eltersdorf'', the current club dates back to 1926. With support from another local working maes club, the ATSV Erlangen, ATSV Eltersdorf was formed in 1926. Landesliga Bayern
The Landesliga Bayern sits at step 6 of the German football league system and is the third highest level in the Bavarian football league system, below the Bayernliga and organised in five regional divisions. The current Landesligas were formed in 1963, when the Bundesliga was established. From 2012, when the Regionalliga Bayern was established, the Landesligas were expanded from three to five divisions. The SV Erlenbach is a German association football club from the town of Erlenbach am Main, Bavaria. The club's greatest success came in 2013 when it qualified for the northern division of Bayernliga, the fifth tier of the German football league system. SpVgg SV Weiden, formerly just SpVgg Weiden, is a German association football club from the city of Weiden, Bavaria. Playing in the tier-four Regionalliga Süd in 2010–11, the club had to declare insolvency after being more than Euro 1 million in debt. Unable to raise enough funds to continue competing in the league, Weiden declared on 30 November 2010 that it would withdraw its Regionalliga team and thereby automatically be relegated. All games for the club in the 2010–11 season were declared void. History The side originated with the 1912 establishment of a football department in the gymnastics club ''Turnerbund Weiden''. FC Bayern Munich II (''FC Bayern Munich Amateure'' until 2005) are the reserve team of German association football club FC Bayern Munich, they currently play in the Regionalliga Bayern. In 2010–11 they played in the 3. Liga, having qualified for its inaugural season in 2008, and have consistently played at the third level of German football (the highest permissible level for reserve teams) – they played in the Regionalliga Süd from its formation in 1994 to 2008, when it was usurped by the 3.
