2013 Tour Of Hainan
The 2013 Tour of Hainan was the eighth edition of the Tour of Hainan cycling stage race. It was rated as a 2.HC event on the UCI Continental Circuits#UCI Asia Tour, UCI Asia Tour, and was held between 20 and 28 October 2013, in Hainan. It was won by Moreno Hofland, in his first professional victory ever. Hofland won 3 stages, his teammate Theo Bos won the other six; it was the first time that a cycling team won all stages and the general classification in a UCI HC event. 2013–14 UCI Asia Tour
The 2013–14 UCI Asia Tour was the 10th season of the UCI Asia Tour. The season began on 6 October 2013 with the Tour of Almaty and ended on 20 December 2014 with the Tour of Al Zubarah. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Asia Tour cycling jersey. Julián Arredondo from Colombia is the defending champion of the 2012–13 UCI Asia Tour. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determine how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Atlas Personal–Jakroo was a Swiss UCI Continental cycling team that was founded in 2007 and disbanded in 2013. The team was based in Germany for the 2007 season, but moved to Switzerland ). Sanya
Sanya (; also spelled Samah) is the southernmost city on Hainan Island, and one of the four prefecture-level cities of Hainan Province in South China. Wanning or in local Hainanese dialect as Ban Ning is a county-level city in the southeast of Hainan Province, China. Although called a "city", Wanning refers to both the county seat and to the entire county as a whole. The county-wide area has an estimated population of 65,871 (2006). Haikou
Haikou (; ), also spelled as Hoikow is the capital and most populous city of the Chinese province of Hainan. Haikou city is situated on the northern coast of Hainan, by the mouth of the Nandu River. The northern part of the city is on the Haidian Island, which is separated from the main part of Haikou by the Haidian River, a branch of the Nandu.
