2013 Canada Games
The 2013 Canada Summer Games is a national multi-sport event that was held in Sherbrooke, Quebec from August 2, 2013 to August 17, 2013. These Games were the first Canada Summer Games to be held in Quebec, and third overall after the inaugural Canada Winter Games in Quebec City in 1967 and the 1983 Canada Winter Games in Saguenay. Canada Summer Games
The Canada Games (french: Jeux du Canada) is a multi-sport event held every two years, alternating between the Canada Winter Games and the Canada Summer Games. They represent the highest level of national competition for Canadian athletes. Two separate programs are organized in order to cover the seasons of summer and winter: the Canada Summer Games and the Canada Winter Games. The first Canada Winter Games were the 1967 Canada Winter Games. The next Canada Winter Games will be the PEI 2023 Canada Winter Games held February 18 – March 5, 2023 in the province of Prince Edward Island. The most recent Canada Summer Games were the 2022 Canada Summer Games which took place August 6–21, 2022 in the Niagara Region. Lake Memphremagog (; french: Lac Memphrémagog) is a fresh water glacial lake located between Newport, Vermont, United States and Magog, Quebec, Canada. The lake spans both Quebec and Vermont, but is mostly in Quebec. Most of the watershed that feeds the lake is located in Vermont, and is a source for accumulated phosphorus, sediments and other pollutants. Cleanup efforts since the late 1980s have improved the water quality. The lake furnishes potable water for 200,000 people. Lake Magog is a freshwater lake located in the Estrie region of Quebec, Canada. It is bordered by three municipalities: Sherbrooke, Magog and Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley. Located in the Appalachian geological province, Lake Magog consists of sedimentary rock, especially slate and sandstone. Lac Des Nations
Lac des Nations is an artificial lake located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. It was created during the construction of a hydroelectric dam used to power the old Patton Co factory. Fed by the Magog River, it is at the heart of the Cité des Rivières Project, which aims to promote tourism and the revitalization of Sherbrooke's rivers. Crossed by the Central Maine and Quebec Railway (a piece of the pre-1994 Canadian Pacific line to Saint John, New Brunswick), it is bordered by the vast Parc Jacques-Cartier. Freestyle wrestling is a style of wrestling originated from Great Britain and the United States. Along with Greco-Roman, it is one of the two styles of wrestling contested in the Olympic Games. American high school and men's college wrestling is conducted under different rules and is termed scholastic and collegiate wrestling. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.
