2013 AFL Under 18 Championships
The 2013 NAB AFL Under 18 Championships was the 18th edition of the AFL Under 18 Championships. Eight teams competed in the championships: Vic Metro, Vic Country, South Australia and Western Australia in Division 1, and New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory (NSW/ACT), Northern Territory, Queensland and Tasmania in Division 2. The competition was played over five rounds, in seven states and territories, across two divisions. In the first two rounds of the competition, the second-division teams crossed over and played the division one sides, while the final three rounds of matches were played between the teams in each the division. South Australia and Tasmania were the Division 1 and Division 2 champions, respectively. Dom Sheed (born 10 April 1995) is an Australian rules footballer, playing for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life From Kalgoorlie, in the Goldfields region of Western Australia, Sheed played underage football for Mines Rovers in the Goldfields Football League (GFL), but moved to Perth at the age of 16 to play for in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Lewis Taylor (Australian Footballer)
Lewis Taylor (born 17 February 1995) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Sydney Swans and the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL). From Mortlake in Victoria, Taylor attended high school at Mercy Regional College, Camperdown. Taylor was drafted by the Lions with their fourth selection, pick 28, in the 2013 AFL Draft. At only 173 cm, he drew comparisons with player Brent "Boomer" Harvey due to his ability to cut sides up throughout the middle of the ground with his pace and elite endurance. Despite having an interrupted pre-season due to a foot injury, Taylor played all 22 games for Brisbane in his debut season. Jack Billings (born 18 August 1995) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Billings played TAC Cup with Oakleigh Chargers and played for Vic Metro in Under 18 Championships. Billings is a two-time Under 18 All-Australian after making the team as an underage player. He was taken by St Kilda with pick #3 in the 2013 National Draft. AFL career Billings made his debut in Round 1 of the 2014 AFL season against Melbourne. Cameron McCarthy (born 1 April 1995) is an Australian rules footballer who last played for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Greater Western Sydney Giants from 2013 to 2016. Ben Lennon (born 5 July 1995) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was an under-18 All Australian before becoming a first round AFL draft pick in 2013. James Aish (born 8 November 1995) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Brisbane Lions from 2014 to 2015, and Collingwood from 2016 to 2019. Matthew Scharenberg (born 18 September 1995) is a professional Australian rules football player who last played for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). State football Scharenberg played for amateur club PHOS Camden and for his school Immanuel College.
