2012–13 Turkish Basketball League
The 2012–13 Turkish Basketball League, which is called Beko Basketball League due to sponsorship reasons, was the 47th season of the top professional basketball league in Turkey. The regular season started on October 13, 2012, and ended on May 15, 2013. Playoffs started on May 17, 2013, and ended on June 15, 2013. Beşiktaş were the defending champions. Galatasaray Medical Park won their 5th title, after not winning one for twenty three years. Zonguldak
Zonguldak () is a city and the capital of Zonguldak Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It was established in 1849 as a port town for the nearby coal mines in Ereğli and the coal trade remains its main economic activity. Erman Kunter (born 8 October 1956) is a Turkish-French former professional basketball player and coach. He most recently served as head coach of Galatasaray, of the Turkish Basketball Super League (BSL). He is well-known for being the player that scored the most points ever in a single-game of any top-tier level professional basketball league in the world, with 153 points scored in a Turkish Super League game in 1988.
