PSV Eindhoven
Philips Sport Vereniging (; en, Philips Sports Association ), abbreviated as PSV and internationally known as PSV Eindhoven (), is a Dutch sports club from Eindhoven, Netherlands. It is best known for its professional football department, which has played in the Eredivisie, the top tier in Dutch football, since its inception in 1956. Along with Ajax and Feyenoord, PSV is one of the country's " big three" clubs that have dominated the Eredivisie. The club was founded in 1913 as a team for Philips employees. PSV's history contains two golden eras revolving around the UEFA Cup victory in 1978 and the 1987–88 European Cup victory as part of the seasonal treble in 1988. Marcelo Antônio Guedes Filho (born 20 May 1987), commonly known as Marcelo, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Australian club Western Sydney Wanderers. Career Santos Born in São Vicente, Marcelo began his career at Santos, making his first team debut in the 2007 season. He won the Campeonato Paulista with the club that season. Peter van Ooijen (born 16 February 1992) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Helmond Sport. Career Born in Rosmalen, Van Ooijen started his career with PSV, having joined the club in 2003 from FC Den Bosch. Jürgen Leonardo Locadia (born 7 November 1993) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker or winger. Club career Early career Locadia, who is of Curaçaoan descent, was born in Emmen, Netherlands, and began playing football with the club VV Bargeres, before being discovered by the youth team of FC Emmen. Timothy Derijck (born 25 May 1987) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Belgian First Division A club Zulte Waregem. Club career Early career Derijck is a product of the Anderlecht youth academy, but left the Brussels giants for Feyenoord before making it into the first team. Luciano Narsingh (born 13 September 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Ekstraklasa club Miedź Legnica. He is right-footed and usually plays as a right winger but can also play as a left winger, and both side of attacking midfield. Jetro Danovich Sexer Willems (born 30 March 1994) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left wing-back or left-back. Atiba Hutchinson (born 8 February 1983) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder and captains both Süper Lig club Beşiktaş and the Canada national team. Nils Ola Toivonen (; born 3 July 1986) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or forward. After beginning his career in his home town team of Degerfors, he spent time in the top flight for Örgryte before he got signed by Malmö FF before the 2007 season.
