The 2012 FIM Swedish Speedway Grand Prix was the fourth race of the 2012 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on May 26 at the Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Grand Prix was won by Fredrik Lindgren who beat Greg Hancock, Chris Holder and wild card Thomas H. Jonasson. It was the first SGP won by Lidngren. Gothenburg
Gothenburg (; abbreviated Gbg; sv, Göteborg ) is the second-largest city in Sweden, fifth-largest in the Nordic countries, and capital of the Västra Götaland County. Bjarne Aagaard Pedersen (born 12 July 1978 in Holstebro, Denmark)Oakes, P.(2006). ''Speedway Star Almanac''. is an international motorcycle speedway rider who has represented Denmark in the Speedway World Cup, winning it on two occasions: in 2006 and 2008. Career summary Pedersen began his speedway career in 1990. He won his first title in 1994 winning a Danish junior pairs championship with Charlie Gjedde. However, he did not ride as a full-time professional until 2000. Pedersen began his UK racing career with the Newcastle Diamonds in the Premier League. Matěj Kůs (born 11 July 1989) is a Czech international motorcycle speedway racer, Multiple Czech Republic Champion (10 times), and European Pairs Champion (2 times). He has also has raced for several clubs in the British Premier League. His promising career has stopped because of several injuries in the past. Between British spectators he is called Matty, Magicman or KusKus. Career summary Kůs represents the Czech Republic and was named 3 times as Speedway Grand Prix Wild Card in Prague. Tobiasz Musielak
Tobiasz Musielak (born 18 August 1993 in Leszno, Poland) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider who rode for the Wolverhampton Wolves in the Elite League and has also ridden for Swindon Robins and Sheffield Tigers. Career Musielak, the younger brother of fellow Speedway rider Sławomir Musielak, mirrored the early career of his brother by starting his career with Unia Leszno who Tobiasz still rides for today after first riding for them in 2009. In 2011 he became a member of the Polish national junior speedway team, and in 2012 he was the runner-up in the Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. Musielak was given his first opportunity in British Speedway by the Wolverhampton Wolves who named him in their 2015 line-up. Grant Tregoning
Grant Tregoning (born 26 January 1988) is former international motorcycle speedway rider from New Zealand. Career Tregoning began riding speedway at Moore Park in Christchurch when he was 13 years old. He won the New Zealand under-21 championship for the first time when he was 16 and won it again in the 2007–08 and 2008–09 seasons. He was offered a place in the Mildenhall Fen Tigers team in 2008 but due to a delay with his visa was unable to take his place. However, he was able to travel to Europe in May to compete in a World under-21 qualifying round in Norden, and after this rode in two meetings in England for the Buxton Hitmen in the Conference League. In 2009, he rode for the Newport Hornets in the National League where he achieved a 6.81 average for the season. In August he paired with Tony Atkin to win the National League Pairs Championship. Career He has appeared as a track reserve in the 2007 Czech Republic Speedway Grand Prix, scoring three points from two rides and has represented the Czech Republic national speedway team at senior level.
