Fußballclub Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 e. Mercedes-Benz Arena () is a stadium located in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany and home to German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. Mewa Arena (; stylised as MEWA ARENA; also known as the 1. FSV Mainz 05 Arena due to UEFA sponsorship regulations) is a multi-purpose stadium in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, that opened in July 2011. It is used for football matches, and hosts the home matches of the German Bundesliga side Mainz 05. The stadium has a capacity of 34,034, 19,700 seated, and replaced the Bruchwegstadion. Christian Fuchs (; born 7 April 1986) is an Austrian former professional footballer who played as a left back. He began his senior career as a teenager at Wiener Neustadt before signing his first professional contract at 17 with SV Mattersburg, challenging for the Austrian Football Bundesliga title and taking part in European competitions. In 2008, he left for Germany, signing for VfL Bochum. Job Joël André Matip (born 8 August 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Liverpool. Matip began his professional career with Schalke 04 in 2009, and was part of their teams that won the DFB-Pokal and DFL-Supercup in 2011. He totalled 258 competitive appearances and 23 goals before moving to Liverpool on a free transfer in 2016, where he won the UEFA Champions League in 2019, starting in the final. Benedikt Höwedes (born 29 February 1988) is a German former professional footballer who played as a defender. He spent the majority of his playing career for Schalke 04, which he captained for six seasons, and represented the Germany national football team from 2011 to 2017. Andreas Ivanschitz ( hr, Ivančić; born 15 October 1983) is an Austrian retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder.
