Larbi Bouraada
Larbi Bourrada (called sometimes ''Larbi Bouraâda'' or ''Larbi Bouraada'', born May 10, 1988, in Rouiba) is an Algerian decathlon athlete. He is the four-time African champion (2008, 2010, 2014 and 2018) and the African record holder in the event. He has also competed in the pole vault, winning the All-Africa Games title in 2011 and two silver medals at the African Championships. In 2012 his doping sample at a competition came back positive for the banned steroid Stanozolol, and he was given a two-year ban from athletics. Biography As a teenager he won the bronze medal in the decathlon at the 2007 All-Africa Games. Tito Steiner (born March 1, 1952 in Paraguay) is a retired decathlete of German descent who represented Argentina in the 1970s and 1980s. Daniel Dion O'Brien (born July 18, 1966) is an American former decathlete and Olympic gold medalist. He won the Olympic title in 1996, three consecutive world championships (1991, 1993, 1995), and set the world record in 1992. Early life O'Brien was born in Portland, Oregon in 1966. He is of African American and Finnish heritage, and grew up as an adopted child in an Irish-American family in Klamath Falls. He attended Henley High School graduating in 1984.
