2011 LG Hockey Games
The 2011 LG Hockey Games took place between 10 and 13 February 2011. Five matches were played in Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, and one match were played in Mytishchi Arena in Mytischi, Russia. The tournament was a part of the 2010–11 Euro Hockey Tour. Sweden won the tournament before Russia and Finland. The 2010 LG Hockey Games will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, from 29 April to 2 May. The games will be played in Ericsson Globe, Globen. One match will be played in Helsinki, Finland. Yevgeny Yevgenyevich Kuznetsov (russian: Евгений Евгеньевич Кузнецов; born 19 May 1992) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). Tomáš Mojžíš (born May 2, 1982) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman playing for Slovan Bratislava of the Kontinental Hockey League. Playing career Mojžíš was drafted in the eighth round, 246th overall, by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He has played for HC Pardubice (Czech Jr.), the Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL), Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL), Manitoba Moose (AHL), Peoria Rivermen (AHL), St. Louis Blues (NHL), and Vancouver Canucks (NHL). Jakub Nakládal (born 30 December 1987) is a Czech former professional ice hockey defenseman who last played for HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Playing career Undrafted, Nakládal played in his native Czech Republic making his Czech Extraliga debut in the 2006–07 season with HC Pardubice. During his sixth season with Pardubice, having established himself as a defensive defenseman, Nakládal transferred mid-season to the Kontinental Hockey League with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 2011–12. Petr Průcha (born September 14, 1982) is a Czech former professional ice hockey forward who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Rangers and the Phoenix Coyotes. Playing career Průcha led the Czech Republic Junior League in points during the 2001–02 season (33 assists and 56 points in 25 games). He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the eighth round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, 240th overall. Stefan Liv
Stefan Daniel Patryk Liv (born Patryk Śliż; 21 December 1980 – 7 September 2011) was a Swedish professional ice hockey, ice hockey player who played as a goaltender. Liv played professionally in Sweden, North America and Russia. Liv played nine seasons for HV71 in the top-tier league in Sweden. He played one season in Detroit Redwings, Detroit Red Wings organization without managing to make his debut in the National Hockey League, NHL. He then returned to Europe and HV71. Upon his return, he played three seasons in Sweden, then moved to Russia in 2010. Jakub Štěpánek (born 20 June 1986) is a Czech professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for Brûleurs de Loups of the French Synerglace Ligue Magnus. Jere Juhani Karalahti (born 25 March 1975) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings as their sixth-round pick in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft and played a total of 166 games in the NHL. Ossi Louhivaara (born August 31, 1983) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player who most notably played with JYP Jyväskylä of the Liiga. Louhivaara was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 8th round (260th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Louhivaara made his debut in Finland's top-flight Liiga playing with JYP Jyväskylä during the 2004–05 SM-liiga season. Petteri Wirtanen (born May 28, 1986) is a Finnish professional ice hockey Forward currently playing with HC TPS in the Liiga. Wirtanen was selected 172nd overall in the 6th round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Anaheim Ducks. Playing career Wirtanen played as a youth within HPK. He made his professional debut with the club at the SM-liiga level during the 2004–05 season. In the following season he became a Finnish champion with HPK in 2006. Jani Lajunen (born 16 June 1990) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing with Örebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He was selected by the Nashville Predators in the 7th round (201st overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Mikko Mäenpää
Mikko Mäenpää (born April 19, 1983) is Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman, currently playing for JYP Jyväskylä in the Liiga. Playing career He could not break through into Tappara roster at young age, so he moved to JYP in 2002. He also made brief visits to Pelicans and Mestis teams Jukurit and Sport.
