2011 Formula Renault UK Season
The 2011 Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship is a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across England. The championship features a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers competing in 2 litre Formula Renault single seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. It forms part of the extensive program of support categories built up around the BTCC centrepiece. This season will be the 23rd British Formula Renault Championship. The season began at Brands Hatch on 3 April and ended on 16 October at Silverstone, after twenty rounds held in England. From the World Series meeting at Silverstone, the series was sponsored by Certina Kurth Frères and presented as the CERTINA Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship. Alex Lynn
Alexander George Lynn (born 17 September 1993) is a British racing driver. He most recently competed in Formula E, driving for Mahindra Racing in the 2021 season, winning the second race of his home ePrix in London. Lynn has also competed full-time in the 2019–20 FIA World Endurance Championship driving for Aston Martin Racing, has won the 2017 12 Hours of Sebring, and finished sixth in the 2015 and 2016 GP2 Series. Daniel Cammish
Daniel Cammish (born 10 April 1989) is a British racing driver currently competing in a Ford Focus for NAPA Racing UK in the British Touring Car Championship. Early life Cammish was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire. He attended Morley High School. Racing career Cammish made his karting debut in 2003, driving in the Manchester & Buxton Kart Club Junior Rotax Championship, in which he finished 20th. He raced in the Kartmasters British Grand Prix Super Libre, Super 1 National Formula A Championship and Super 1 National Rotax Max Championship before graduating to car racing in 2009, where he won the Formula Ford Scholarship class and competed in the ADAC Formel Masters. In 2012, he suffered a broken pelvis in a high-speed accident during a race in Spain. Eftihios "Tio" Ellinas (born 27 January 1992 in Larnaca, Cyprus) is a Cypriot race car driver. Ellinas began racing go-karts at the age of seven, and from 2003 - 2009 won 10 kart racing championships in Cyprus, in 2005 winning the ROK Cup International Final. He was the winner of Grand Prix Shootout in the UK in 2009 competing against 50 other top young drivers from all over the world. In 2010, he competed in the MSA Dunlop Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain racing with the JTR Team. Daniel Wells is a British racing driver from Salisbury. Career Karting He competed in 11 Senior Rotax kart races in the South of the United Kingdom - setting a fastest lap in a field of 24 in his first ever race at Clay Pigeon. Formula Ford In 2010 Wells graduated to Formula Ford 1600. Together with engineer John Percy - who ran him out of a single trailer - Wells took five class poles and five class wins in seven race weekends. Reid Motorsport is a former British racing team operated by Anthony Reid, the former team truckie of Ultimate Motorsport. Atech Grand Prix was a British motor racing team. It was formed in 2007 as Hitech Junior Team by David Hayle, who had sold his successful British Formula 3 team Hitech Racing to Austrian businessman Walter Grubmuller, Sr. It was renamed Atech Grand Prix at the end of 2009. Jordan King (born 26 February 1994 in Warwick) is a British racing driver from Harbury, Warwickshire who last competed in the 2019–20 FIA World Endurance Championship. In 2010, she became the first woman to win a Formula Renault championship and in 2012 became the first woman to score points in the GP3 Series. He is the son of 1996 Formula One world champion Damon Hill and the grandson of two-time Formula One world champion Graham Hill. Career Hill has been racing cars since 2008.
