2011 Copa Chile
The 2011 Copa Chile was the 32nd edition of the Copa Chile, the country's national cup tournament. The competition started on May 11, 2011 with the preliminary rounds and concluded on November 16, 2011 with the second leg of the final. The winner qualified for the 2012 Copa Sudamericana. Schedule Teams A total 76 clubs were accepted for the competition; one club, Juventud Puente Alto, folded before the fixtures were released, leaving 75 clubs in the draw. Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season. Santiago Wanderers
Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto. Founded on 15 August 1892, it's the country's oldest club and the oldest football team in Latin America as well. There are four clubs older than Wanderers in Peru and Argentina, but none of those started out as football clubs and all of their football branches started after 1892. Club de Deportes Naval is a Chilean football club, their home town is Talcahuano, Biobío Region. They currently play at the fifth level of Chilean football, Tercera B of Chile. Lota Schwager
Lota Schwager is a Chilean professional team based in Coronel that currently play in Tercera A (fourth-tier). History Following the merger between Federico Schwager and Minas Lota (teams that competed in Campeonato Regional de Concepción representing Lota and Schwager companies), the club was established on 10 May 1966 under the name of ''"Lota Schwager"'', making reference to both companies latest mentioned. Everton De Viña Del Mar
Everton de Viña del Mar is a Chilean football club based in the city of Viña del Mar. The club was founded 24 June 1909 after a group of Anglo-Chilean teenagers formed a football club and named it after the English team Everton who had recently completed a pioneering tour of South America. The club's nickname is "Ruleteros" or the roulette players in English, after Viña del Mar's status as a gambling resort. Club Deportes Puerto Montt is a Chilean football club based in the city of Puerto Montt, Los Lagos Region. Club de Deportes Copiapó — or simply Deportes Copiapó — is a Chilean football club based in Copiapó, Atacama Region. Founded in 1999 after Regional Atacama's folding, it currently plays in the Primera B (second-tier) and holds its home games at Estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla which has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. Deportes Antofagasta is a Chilean football club based in the city of Antofagasta currently playing in the Campeonato Nacional. The club's home stadium is the Estadio Bicentenario Calvo y Bascuñán, which has a capacity of 21,178. Curicó Unido is a football club based in Curicó, Maule Region, Chile. They currently play in the Primera División, the first level of the Chilean football system. They are currently managed by Damián Muñoz. History Curicó Unido was founded on 26 February 1973, with ''Edmundo Rojas'' as the first President of the club. Club Universidad de Chile () is a professional football club based in Santiago, Chile, that plays in the Primera División.
