2010 Espirito Santo Trophy
The 2010 Espirito Santo Trophy took place 20–23 October at the Olivos Golf Club and Buenos Aires Golf Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was the 24th women's golf World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event. There were a record 52 team entries, each with two or three players. Each team played two rounds at Olivos and two rounds at Buenos Aires. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. South Korea won the Trophy for their second title, with a record 30-under-par score of 546, 17 strokes ahead of silver medalist team United States. Defending champion team Sweden shared the bronze medal with France and South Africa on third place, another five strokes back. Kelly Tidy (born February 1992) is a former professional golfer from England, who now works in golf event management. Career Amateur Tidy started her amateur career in 2009, where she competed in the British Ladies Amateur. Tidy finished in the final 16 that year. Holly Clyburn (born 7 February 1991) is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the Ladies European Tour. She was a member of the victorious 2012 Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team and won her first professional tournament at the Deloitte Ladies Open in 2013, her rookie year on tour. Hannah Burke (born 28 March 1988) is an English professional golfer, member of the Ladies European Tour (LET) and winner of the 2015 Tipsport Golf Masters. Klára Davidson Spilková (born 15 December 1994) is a Czech professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She won the 2017 Lalla Meryem Cup and the 2022 Women's Irish Open. Laura Gonzalez Escallon (born 6 October 1990) is a professional golfer from Belgium who has played on the LPGA Tour and the Symetra Tour. Sarah Schober (born 15 April 1992) is an Austrian professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. She was runner-up at the 2022 Big Green Egg Open and won the 2016 LETAS Order of Merit. Amateur career Schober was born in Wagna, Austria and began playing golf at the age of eight. At twelve, she joined the National Team.
