The Serbian First League (Serbian: Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 18 teams will compete in this league for the 2008–09 season. Five teams will be promoted to the Serbian Superliga and two will be relegated the Serbian League, the third-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League ( sr, Прва лига Србије / Prva liga Srbije), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League ( sr, Моцарт Бет Прва лига / Mozzart Bet Prva liga) for sponsorship reasons, is the name for the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season. FK Inđija
Fudbalski klub Inđija Toyo Tires () is a football club based in the city of Inđija, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian First League, the second tier of the national league system. During Yugoslavia the club mainly participated in the amateur ranks of competition. The club's biggest success were two promotions to the Serbian SuperLiga for 2010–11 and 2019–20 seasons. History FK Inđija was established in 1933 as a Yugoslav Railways employees club, initially named ŽAK Inđija and later FK Železničar Inđija. In 1969, Železničar was renamed to FK PIK Inđija. In 1975 the name changed, this time to FK Agrounija after the club's sponsor at that time. 2008–09 Serbian Cup
The 2008–09 Serbian Cup season was the third season of the Serbian national football tournament. The competition started on 3 September 2008 and ended with the Final held on 21 May 2009. The defending champions were FK Partizan, who successfully defended their title. 2009–10 UEFA Europa League
The 2009–10 UEFA Europa League was the first season of the UEFA Europa League, Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA. The competition was previously known as the UEFA Cup, which had been in existence for 38 years. 2009–10 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2009–10 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the fourth season of the SuperLiga since its establishment in 2006. It began on 15 August 2009 and ended on 16 May 2010. A total of sixteen teams contest the league, with Partizan the defending champions. Changes from the 2008–09 season Structure changes League size was expanded from twelve to sixteen teams prior to this season. As a consequence, the schedule for each team was reduced from 33 to 30 matches. Team changes Due to the league expansion, only 12th-placed Banat Zrenjanin were relegated to the First League. They were replaced by the 2008–09 First League champions BSK Borča. Fudbalski klub Novi Pazar () is a professional football club from Novi Pazar, Serbia. The club was formed in 1928 as FK Deževa. FK Novi Pazar compete in the Serbian SuperLiga and play their home games at the 12,000 capacity Novi Pazar City Stadium. The club has got a B team FK Novi Pazar 1928 who plays in the Serbian Zone League. The club draws the majority of its support from the Bosniak population, as Novi Pazar is the cultural centre of the Bosniak Muslims in Serbia. FK Bežanija () is a football club based in Bežanija, Belgrade, Serbia. They compete in the Belgrade Inter-Municipal League, the sixth tier of the national league system. History Founded in 1921, the club changed its name several times in its early stages, being known as Soko, BSK and finally HŠK (during the Axis occupation of Yugoslavia). They adopted the new name Jedinstvo following the end of World War II in 1946, becoming a member of the Novi Sad Football Association. FK Mladost Lučani () is a professional football club based in Lučani, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of the national league system. History Founded in 1952, the club achieved its first notable success by winning the Yugoslav Inter-Republic League (Group East) in 1989, thus earning promotion to the Yugoslav Second League. FK Dinamo Vranje () is a football club based in Vranje, Serbia. They compete in the Pčinja District League, the fifth tier of the national league system. RFK Novi Sad 1921 (Serbian Cyrillic: РФК Нови Сад 1921) is a professional football club from Novi Sad, Serbia. The club is currently playing in the Serbian First League. OFK Mladost APA () is a football club based in Apatin, Vojvodina, Serbia. They compete in the Vojvodina League North, the fourth tier of the national league system. History The original club was founded in 1928 as SK Tri zvezde.
