2008 Tour Of Turkey
The 2008 Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, the 44th running of the race, took place from April 13 to April 20, 2008. Matteo Priamo
Matteo Priamo (born 20 March 1982 in Castelfranco Veneto) is an Italian professional road bicycle racer, previously of UCI Professional Continental team . Priamo's teammate Emanuele Sella, who had won three stages and the mountains classification at the 2008 Giro d'Italia, tested positive for methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta (better known as Mircera, an erythropoietin derivative) at an out-of-competition control run by the UCI. After confessing to his doping he named Priamo as his supplier. Though the Italian National Anti-Doping tribunal originally exonerated Priamo, the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled, upon appeal by the Italian National Olympic Committee, that he should be suspended for four years. SL Benfica (cycling Team)
Sport Lisboa e Benfica (), commonly known as Benfica, was a professional road bicycle racing team based in Lisbon, Portugal. History Cycling was the main sport of the original ''Grupo Sport Benfica'' formed in 1906. Upon the merger with ''Sport Lisboa'' in 1908, a cycling department established within the new Sport Lisboa e Benfica, and along with football, is one of only two sports referenced in the club's logo. The sport was in activity from 1906 to 1941, 1947 to 1978, 1999 to 2000, and once again for two seasons in 2007 and 2008. In 1931 the Portuguese cycling legend José Maria Nicolau won the Volta a Portugal and helped Benfica to win the Volta as a team. Benfica won the Volta once again in 1932. Mitsubishi–Jartazi was a professional cycling team based in Belgium from 2004 until 2007 and Estonia in 2008. It started as a Division III team in 2004, made the transition to UCI Continental in 2005 and became UCI Professional Continental in 2008. The team was managed by Patrick Stallaert. Ariel Maximiliano Richeze Araquistain (born 7 March 1983) is an Argentine professional cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2006 until January 2023. Richeze won the silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games (Men's Team Pursuit). His brothers Roberto, Mauro and Adrián are also cyclists. Biography Richeze was born in Bella Vista.
