The 2007–08 SEB Korvpalli Meistriliiga is the 17th season of the Estonian basketball league and the fourth under the title sponsorship of SEB. Including the competition's previous incarnations, this is the 83rd season of the Estonian men's basketball league. TÜ/Rock came into the season as defending champions of the 2006–07 KML season. The season started on 3 October 2007 and concluded on 21 May 2008 with TÜ/Rock defeating Tallinna Kalev/Cramo 4 games to 0 in the 2008 KML Finals to win their 24th Estonian League title. 2006–07 KML Season
The 2006–07 SEB Korvpalli Meistriliiga was the 16th season of the Estonian basketball league and the third under the title sponsorship of SEB. Including the competition's previous incarnations, this was the 82nd season of the Estonian men's basketball league. Tallinna Kalev/Cramo came into the season as defending champions of the 2005–06 KML season. The season started on 4 October 2006 and concluded on 29 May 2007 with TÜ/Rock defeating Tallinna Kalev/Cramo 4 games to 2 in the 2007 KML Finals to win their 23rd Estonian League title. TalTech Basketball is the basketball team of Tallinn University of Technology based in Tallinn, Estonia. The team plays in the Latvian–Estonian Basketball League. Their home arena is the TalTech Sports Hall. The team has won eight Estonian Championships and seven Estonian Cups. BC Rakvere Tarvas is a professional basketball club based in Rakvere, Estonia. The team plays in the Latvian–Estonian Basketball League. Their home arena is the Rakvere Sports Hall. BC Valga-Valka, also known as BC Valga-Valka/Maks & Moorits for sponsorship reasons, is a basketball club representing the twin towns of Valga, Estonia and Valka, Latvia. The team plays in the Latvian–Estonian Basketball League. Their home arena is the Valga Sports Hall. From 2015 to 2018 the team uniquely competed in both Estonian and Latvian domestic top leagues. Triobet/Dalkia (also known as Nybit) was an Estonian professional basketball club founded in 1992 and dissolved in 2008. The club played in the Estonian Korvpalli Meistriliiga. The team won 1 Estonian Cup. The team played its home games at Audentes Sports Center. History Founded in 1992 as Dublant, the team changed its name to Nybit in 1993. Korvpalli Meistriliiga
The Korvpalli Meistriliiga ( en, Basketball Champions League), known as the OlyBet Korvpalli Meistriliiga for sponsorship reasons, is the highest tier level and most important professional basketball league in Estonia. It is controlled by the Estonian Basketball Association. The first Estonian Basketball Championship tournament was held in 1925. During Soviet era (1941–1991) the league was called the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic Championship. After Estonia regained its independence in 1991, the league was reformed as the Korvpalli Meistriliiga (KML). The KML, which is played under FIBA rules, currently consists of eight teams.
