Indy Lights
Indy NXT, previously Indy Lights, is an American developmental automobile racing series sanctioned by IndyCar, currently known as Firestone Indy NXT Series for sponsorship reasons. Indy Lights is the highest step on the Road to Indy, a program of racing series leading up to the IndyCar Series. The Indy Lights series has been promoted by Anderson Promotions since 2014, which also manages the Road to Indy program. A similar series named Indy Lights filled the developmental role for the CART series, and ran from 1986 to 1993 as the American Racing Series and Dayton Indy Lights from 1991 to 2001. The current IndyCar sanctioned series was founded in 2002 as the Infiniti Pro Series as a way to introduce new talent to IndyCar, with the moniker Indy Lights returning in 2008 when CART and IndyCar unified. Nashville Superspeedway
Nashville Superspeedway is a motor racing complex located in Gladeville, Tennessee, United States (though the track has a Lebanon postal address), about southeast of Nashville. The track was built in 2001 and is currently hosting the Ally 400, a NASCAR Cup Series regular season event, the Tennessee Lottery 250, and the Rackley Roofing 200. It is a concrete oval track 1 miles (2.145 km) long. Nashville Superspeedway is owned by Speedway Motorsports, which acquired the track’s previous owner Dover Motorsports in December 2021. Nashville Superspeedway is the longest concrete oval in NASCAR. Current permanent seating capacity is approximately 25,000, but will reach up to 38,000 for the NASCAR Cup Series event in 2021. Travis Gregg
Travis Gregg (born March 28, 1978) is an American racing driver from Camden, Ohio. After karting, Gregg began in cars in amateur SCCA Formula Atlantic in 1998 and 1999 while attending Miami University. He graduated in 2000 and ventured into sprint car racing, competing in a number of series across the midwestern United States. In 2004 he began racing in the Infiniti Pro Series (now called Indy Lights) and sat on pole in his first series race at Kentucky Speedway. Jonathan Klein (driver)
Jonathan Klein (born June 23, 1987) is an American racing driver from Long Grove, Illinois. After racing Formula Atlantic cars in the SCCA he moved up to professional racing in 2005 in Star Mazda, finishing 13th for Andersen Walko Racing. In 2006 he moved to the Indy Pro Series driving for Andretti Green Racing. At the time one of Andretti Green's IndyCar entries was sponsored by Klein Tools which at the time was headed by Jonathan Klein's father, Rick Klein. Klein finished second in Indy Pro Series points despite not winning, but did capture a pole at Kentucky Speedway, finishing second, and finished second in the season closer at Chicagoland Speedway. Team Moore Racing
Team Moore Racing was an auto racing team that competed in the Firestone Indy Lights series. It was owned by former racer Tom Wood and Mark Moore and is based in Pittsboro, Indiana. The team was formed in 2007 with Wood driving. However, after the first race of the season Wood retired and Jonathan Klein took over driving duties for the rest of the season (with Travis Gregg filing in for Klein due to injury for one race). Klein finished 12th in points, driving in 14 of the 16 races. In 2008 the team returned initially with IndyCar veteran Jeff Simmons in its primary car. The team expanded to a second car for a few races, primarily with driver Pablo Donoso who drove for several different teams that season. Donoso captured the team's first win at Infineon Raceway in August. Simmons left the team late in the season and was replaced by a returning Jonathan Klein. Dallara
Dallara is an Italian race car manufacturer, founded by its current President, Gian Paolo Dallara. After working for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, in 1972 in his native village of Varano de' Melegari (Parma), Italy he created "Dallara Automobili". Dallara is also the sole manufacturer of racing cars for the IndyCar Series, Indy Lights, Formula 2, Formula 3 and Super Formula Championships. Logan Gomez (born December 16, 1988) is an American race car driver from Crown Point, Indiana who most notably competed in the Firestone Indy Lights Series (formerly the Indy Pro Series). He made his debut at the 2006 Liberty Challenge at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course while competing in the Star Mazda series full-time. He moved full-time to the Indy Pro Series in 2007 by bringing iSilon Systems backing to fund a ride at Sam Schmidt Motorsports. Infineon Raceway
Sonoma Raceway (originally known as Sears Point Raceway from 1967 to 1980 and 1982 to 2002, Golden State International Raceway in 1981 and Infineon Raceway from 2002 to 2012) is a road course and dragstrip located at Sears Point in the southern Sonoma Mountains of Sonoma County, California. Kentucky Speedway is a tri-oval speedway in Sparta, Kentucky, which has hosted ARCA, NASCAR and Indy Racing League racing annually since it opened in 2000.
