The 2006 Danish speedway season was the 2006 season of motorcycle speedway in Denmark. Individual Individual Championship The 2006 Danish Individual Speedway Championship was the 2006 edition of the Danish Individual Speedway Championship. The final was staged over two rounds, at Outrup on 30 June and at Holsted on 4 August. The title was won by Nicki Pedersen for the fourth time. Final U21 Championship Nicolai Klindt won the U21 Championship, held at Holstebro on 15 August. Team Danish Speedway League The 2006 season was won by Holsted Tigers for the 11th time. Only four teams lined up during the season which resulted in a play off round to determine the champion team. The 2005 Danish speedway season was the 2005 season of motorcycle speedway in Denmark. Individual Individual Championship The 2005 Danish Individual Speedway Championship was the 2005 edition of the Danish Individual Speedway Championship. The final was held at Fjelsted on 19 August. The title was won by Nicki Pedersen for the third time. Leon Madsen
Leon Madsen (born 5 September 1988) is a Danish speedway rider who is twice a World Championship silver medalist. Career Born in Vejle, Madsen won the 80cc junior World Championship in 2001. In 2018 and 2022, Madsen won the Individual Speedway European Championship. Claus Vissing
Claus Vissing (born 6 June 1986) is a Danish speedway rider. Career Vissing made his British league debut for Stoke Potters in the 2007 Premier League speedway season before joining Peterborough Panthers for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. In 2010, he rode in the top tier of British Speedway, riding for Ipswich Witches during the 2010 Elite League speedway season. The following season in 2011, he signed for Birmingham Brummies but soon moved on to Somerset Rebels for 2012. He then spent three years in Scotland with Edinburgh Monarchs and Berwick Bandits respectively. In 2016, he joined Workington Comets and then rode again for Berwick in 2017. He was a member of the Swindon Robins team in the SGB Premiership 2019 that won the league and Knockout cup double. He also had two solid seasons in the Championship, helping Glasgow Tigers to two second place finishes in 2018 and 2019. Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship
The Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship is a competition for riders who are under the age of 21, holding a Danish passport and a valid DMU licence. The competition was first staged in 1960 and was won by Jorgen Hoffman. Although there was no competition in 1961, the event returned in 1962 and has been staged every year since.
