The Girls' singles tournament of the 2006 BWF World Junior Championships is a badminton world junior individual championships for the Eye Level Cups, held on November 6–11. The defending champion of the last edition is Cheng Shao-chieh from Chinese Taipei. The top seeded Wang Yihan of China won the gold medal in this event after beat Saina Nehwal of India in straight games with the score 21–13, 21–9. Samsan World Gymnasium
Incheon Samsan World Gymnasium is an indoor arena in Incheon, South Korea. It has hosted numerous international tournaments such as the 2014 Incheon World Wheelchair Basketball Championship, 2014 World Wheelchair Basketball Championship and the Basketball at the 2014 Asian Games, basketball events at the 2014 Asian Games. The complex includes a convention center adjacent to the indoor arena. The arena was considered ground-breaking for its time as the gymnasium was planned in such a way that the spectators' seats may be rearranged to suit various sports, thus being able to host fourteen different indoor sports in addition to concerts, festivals and other events. Tse Ying Suet (, born 9 November 1991) is a Hong Kong badminton player. She competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's doubles event (with Poon Lok Yan). In 2012, she won the women's doubles title at the Japan Open tournament with Poon Lok Yan by beating four Japan pairs consecutively. Tse competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, held in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Partnered with Tang Chun Man, she finished fourth in the mixed doubles, defeated by the Japanese pair Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino in the bronze medal match.
