2003 Euroleague Final Four
The 2003 Euroleague Final Four was the concluding Euroleague Final Four tournament of the 2002–03 Euroleague season. The event was held from May 9 until May 11, 2003 and was hosted at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain. FC Barcelona Bàsquet, FC Barcelona won their first Euroleague title in their hometown city after beating Mens Sana Basket, Montepaschi Siena in the championship game. Gregor Fučka
Gregor Fučka (; born 7 August 1971) is a Slovenian-Italian retired professional basketball player and coach. A 215 cm (7' ") forward-center, he was a both a Mister Europa and Euroscar laureate in 2000. Patrick Oliver Femerling (born 4 March 1975) is a German former professional basketball player who played as a center. Professional career Femerling was born in Hamburg. He played for ALBA Berlin in Germany and with them he won three German League championships (1999, 2000, 2008). From 2000 to 2002, he played for Olympiacos and with them he won the Greek Cup (2002). Roberto Dueñas Hernandez (born 1 November 1975) is a retired Spanish professional basketball player. At a height of 7 ft 3 inches tall, he played at the center position. Professional career Dueñas was drafted with the last overall pick (#57), of the 1997 NBA draft, by the Chicago Bulls, but he never played in the NBA. Juan Carlos Navarro (basketball)
Juan Carlos Navarro Feijoo, commonly known as either Juan Carlos Navarro or J. C. Navarro (born June 13, 1980), is a Spanish former professional basketball player. During his playing career, at a height of tall, he played at the shooting guard position. On March 14, 2014, he was named a EuroLeague Basketball Legend. He is the current team manager of FC Barcelona Bàsquet. During his pro club career, Navarro was a two-time EuroLeague champion, in 2003 and 2010. He was also named the EuroLeague MVP in 2009, the EuroLeague Final Four MVP in 2010, and was selected as a member of the EuroLeague 2001–10 All-Decade Team. Rodrigo de la Fuente Morgado (born 26 November 1976) is a retired Spanish professional basketball player and the current general manager of the basketball section of FC Barcelona. Professional career A 6 ft in (2.00 m) 220 lb (100 kg) small forward from Madrid, De la Fuente is a graduate of Washington State University. He won the Triple Crown in 2003 with FC Barcelona. Darius Songaila (born February 14, 1978) is a Lithuanian professional basketball coach and former player. He serves as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has represented the Lithuania national team. Mirsad Türkcan (born Mirsad Jahović, sr-cyr, Мирсад Јаховић; on June 7, 1976) is a Turkish former professional basketball player of Bosniak origin. A three-time All-EuroLeague Team member, he is also the fifth best rebounder in the EuroLeague, since the year 2000, with 1,287 total rebounds. Alphonso Ford
Alphonso Gene Ford (October 31, 1971 – September 4, 2004) was an American professional basketball player. A 1.92 m (6 ft 3 in) tall, 98 kg (216 lbs.) shooting guard, he was one of the greatest scorers in college basketball history. After a short stint in the NBA, he played professionally in Europe. Ford confirmed his tremendous scoring ability in the EuroLeague, and became a reference in the matter, notwithstanding his chronic health issues. Victor Joe Alexander (born August 31, 1969) is an American former professional basketball player. Listed at 6'10" (2.08 m) tall, and 265 pounds (120 kg) in weight, he played as a center and power forward. College career Alexander was considered one of the top low-post scorers in Iowa State history. The burly center was named a First-Team All- Big Eight choice in 1989 and 1991, and his 1,892 career points scored ranks fourth all-time in the school's history.
